What are those gas around 6:45? I built my own spraybooth recently with USB fans. When airbrushing, I had a lot of "gas" even though the fan suction is quite strong. They came out of the box! Are those fumes? I think mine is not vented properly 😅
This is painted outdoor. And this is cardboard only. The mist in the area you mentioned is gas and paint (surfacer). The gas has a strong jet force so it will leak if you don't have a strong air intake system. I also have a spray booth with USB, but if I use can sprayer, I basically do it outdoors.
Hello! I'm back again. Thanks for your video. I reference your guide every now and then. Recently, I have a weird problem. I bought H20 aqueous flat clear, which is advertised as a top coat in bottle. However, when I dilute and brush, it melted the aqueous paint below. Do you know why?
This is a good question. Topcoats also contain solvents. A brush has a lot of pressure, so it will press down and dissolve the underlying color. My recommendation is to use a can sprayer or airbrush for the topcoat. These can be applied lightly and will not dissolve the base color.
You are right! I tried it today with a test piece. Airbrushed RLM75, waited for a while, then airbrushed H20 flat clear. The paint was fine, although it doesn't look very matte. I only did 1 coat. いつもありがとうございます😊
Thank you for the informative video! i recently followed you on twitter and on youtube, i've been looking for spray painting related using one in can! thank you for your hard work!
@@modelochannel yes sir, don't be afraid. I think a lot of builders out there is looking some preference n tips but the content is plaind n have uncertain part they can't understand. Me personally like this channel for giving its knowledge n importantly it have English subtitles. It would help for 3rd world builders out there who wasnt satisfied by English man tutorial 🤙
Very useful. I personally use Mr. Hobby Aqueous, as well as SMS Infinite Colour - it is an emulsion type acrylic paint, but has a lot of great colours and dries with a good finish. I want to start airbrushing with Aqueous, but I have very little space for a commercial booth; however, now I know I can make my own. Thank you for the video!
Daiso has a lot of useful items, doesn't it? I think the cotton swabs are most useful, especially for the price. Unfortunately Daiso is somewhat expensive to buy from here in Australia... but it still has some convenient items
Hi! I heard that mr aqueous is compatible with mr color self levelling thinner? I'm still saving money for an airbrush so now just purely hand brushing. Thank you
