Hello mate, how did you manage to make it work? I downloaded the (online) version, but the (offline) version would be enough for me. But when I enter the game, when I fill in the spaces (I can't), because all I see is (black, red rectangles, etc.). I can't see where I have to fill in. If you can help me, I'd appreciate it!!!
@@esportes-virtuais-rs It sounds like you are having a common problem that is experienced by some people with newer computers and would need to download and run DxWnd to enable you to run the game (either version) in windowed mode. The image that appears must be one of your screens, where the letters appear in black and white for you to choose (and change screens), but for me, it only appears (black, red or white rectangles). It's strange because I downloaded the only version I could find, on the game's website (which is an online version). Years ago I had an alternative version (offline) that I could play, even though I didn't know much about (things related to nautical games). I also installed an old version of "Sail Simulator from 2010" yesterday, but I can't configure it correctly (it seems simple to me). I believe it's an old version (like the modern America's Cup version, which I have on my Steam), but with more boats (470, Laser and other simpler ones), very appropriate for learning new things.
At this point the only thing I can think of is don’t run it on a system with dual monitors. You can extend your screen to a big screen TV or another monitor but don’t use a two monitor setup. The game does not like that at all. On one of my systems I can use two monitors for regular use and then switch back to a one monitor setup to run Vsk5Offline. Another thing is to try disabling your graphics card and fall back on a default. Make sure you can switch back easily though. Sometimes when you disable the graphics card you can’t enable it again and have to re download the driver. My only other suggestion is to install it on an older PC. Over the course of 20+ years and themany PC’s that I’ve run Vsk on, only one or two had a serious problem where it couldn’t be fixed. The last PC I installed Vsk5Offline on is a cheap 2024 Dell Latitude and it runs the game no problem at all. It also runs HG and an HG server simultaneously. It will also run both games at the same time. All on a cheap $100 Amazon laptop. The new high end PC’s may be fancy, but they absolutely suck at running anything the slightest bit outdated. They’re all bark and no bite.
