Love this, bought it immediately and love its flexibility. Wondering how you handle reoccuring tasks. I'm planning on using this for work but have some reoccurring tasks that aren't necessarily daily (more so weekly and monthly) that I'd like to keep a work diary record of. (if that makes any sense :) great job!
For your genre property (I think it is a multiselect), how do you insert the icons next to the genres? Do you copy and paste from an icon website? Thank you!!

@@SonaliPatel-is8bg the ingredients of meals in the weekly plan will automatically add into the grocery list if out of stock ☺️ as long as the dates are correctly set in the meal weekly plan for the current week 🙌
I am planning to yes! It will take a couple weeks before I can record, edit & upload it tho unfortunately 🫣 Overall though the life dashboard is older & is more a collection of pages, the second brain is an intergraded system with many of the pages being linked & working together. The second brain is focused more around the para method aswell & storing information/ideas. 🫶🏼 So it would depend what you’re work style is on which would suit better ☺️☺️
One of the super-best Notion templates I have come across so far! I couldn't stop myself from appreciating the smart work with a comment! Kudos! The 2 best things that are impressive are the comprehensive details in the databases and even better is the way the dashboards are laid out by pulling in ALL the relevant elements with a great layout in each of the dashboards! Definitely want to grab your templates and customize to mine. AM VERY INSPIRED!

@@Muneyplayz1 yep that’s its own database, it uses a relation property from the recipe database as well as some formulas (there’s roughly 28 hidden properties that aren’t shown in the walkthrough that get it to work how it does) ☺️☺️
probably not unfortunately, i feel like those sorts of things are the benefit of purchasing the template & it's not entirely fair to share for those that have done so 🤍 hope you understand!
Yes please on the video on Pinterest marketing & in depth building tutorials. I purchased your "second brain" Notion item and although it was a bit overwhelming (even though your tutorial was amazing) and I didn't follow through with using it last year, I'm recommitted to it this year. Love what you're doing. Please keep it up (especially you tube).

I really like this, Just wondering how to create Pages with my Info from Dreamlight Valley. I like to make a templete of my own but with me being able to tracker the same info that in my spreadsheet into a Notion Templete. I kinda still new and trying to understand Notion.
i would recommend watching some tutorials on how to use notion to start with, that will help you get a good understanding - especially those that build & talk you through it at the same time 😁 with my template you'd just add a new line into the game database & add any new property lines to match what you want to track 🥰
I love your Notion templates! 💕 Have you ever considered a Twitch or Streaming template? :3 Similar to your Social Media or RU-vid ones but more tailored for streamers ~ with a game tracker, schedule, etc and a mix of the other templates
awesome template The way you categorize everything itches my brain. I was wondering how you go about the stuff you rewatched. How do you make sure the movie doesn't show up more than once in your database but still make it count in yearly overviews?
rather than creating a new entry for a rewatch, i just update the status & add the current year into the 'year' column, as you can have more than one ⭐⭐
@@jddesignonlinehmm yes, that's what I've been doing too, seems like the most efficient way. Although this means it won't sync with the yearly archive. like if you watch a movie in 2022 and rewatch it in 2023, it gets transferred from the 2022 to the 2023 archive. I don't think there's a way around that though, right?
it should show up in both in the yearly archive (at least it does with my system), as long as you keep both years listed in the 'year' property (ie; don't replace one year with another, just keep both)@@RiotousRavioli
Do I need to have a notion subscription to be able to use it ? I already purchased someone else’s template and it said you could use it for free, added all my ingredient database, 5 recipes and that was it, out of space, have to pay notion subscription to keep using it
Hi, I made a mood board with the gallery view in notion using jpegs , when I try to export asPDF , all the text appears except the pictures . and have the need to share it with someone that does not use notion. Could you please tell me how to do that?
i've never personally exported notion pages as PDFs, i would just share the page to the web & then share the URL with the person you would like to view it, they don't need notion to do that 😎
In about 13:32 into this video, it talks about the PARA dashboard and it shows on the right side "COLLECTIONS -- RESOURCES" and directly underneath this Title, is shows a link to "resources" and to that right of that another link to "collections". Mine is missing "collections". How can I get that back ? I know I can just click the drop down and change it to "collections", but how can I avoid having to change the view with the drop down selection ?, I would like to have both, like as in the video.
very odd - the two seperate views are still the same as how they are shown in this video (I haven't altered that portion of the template since this recording was done) are you using the template on a computer? if you have a smaller screen (or are using the template on ipade etc) it does move the views to only show one & the other from the dropdown if you don't have enough screen space to show both so potentially it could be that
OH also it could be your zoom level, potentially try zoom out a little & then it might adjust (my zoom is on 100% but i know some people have their screens zoomed in closer & in notion this makes quite a big difference)

Hey Jess, Thank you so much for this amazing Notion template you shared and the option to purchase it on Etsy. I've been working on translating everything into German and integrating it into my Notion board for the past couple of days. However, I've come across a little issue. 😅 When you have various recipes and, for example, one recipe calls for 100g cheese, while another needs 250g cheese, you've only clicked on "cheese" without specifying the quantity in the shopping list. Do you go back into each individual recipe and note down the quantities elsewhere? That seems a little complicated to me to check each recipe and each item. Would be happy, if you have a solution for me 🥰
thanks so much for your comment! but unfortunately no I haven’t figured out how to add quantities to the grocery section as of yet, I personally just like the list to be simple so I know what I need to have rather than the amount. & then each recipe in the note section below is where I list the quantity and instructions, since that’s what I would have open when I was actually making a recipe. hope that makes sense 😍✨
@@jddesignonline Hey Jess, thanks for your answer. However, I'm curious about your process when you go shopping. Do you manually write down quantities for each item beforehand, or do you find yourself in the supermarket checking each recipe again to see how much you need?
@ellamirelle4570 no like I said I just buy what I need, ie; if cheese is on the list I just buy whatever size is on sale that day; or milk we buy the same amount every week, for meat usually I just know that if chicken is on there again I’ll get whatever size is on special - it’s not the most exact system but it works well for me 😁✨
Will the database for each year be created automatically? Sorry if my question is strange or her answer is in the video but I don't speak English and I bought the template and I'm translating it into my language so some things are a little difficult for me to understand
if you mean the yearly tracker, no you’ll need to make a new one each year but that just takes a click of a button then naming it - everything else will be ready to go ◡̈

I noticed some keyword searches which erank shows having misspellings, but high volume levels. Would you switch still switch those out onto your previous tags?
i personally wouldn't but i don't really have any real reason as to why, just sort of my initial gut reaction would be to stick with the correct spelling 😅
