People like her almost never resign unless they are absolutely forced to. When nasty, corrupt people like this woman get a taste of power, it takes a lot to get them to let go. She's a horrible human being.
I dont think people understand how big this actually is. Who cares about the speeding ticket, or even the special treatment from LEO's. My biggest concern is the fact that she openly admitted on video that she was more than happy to continue to break the law by prosecuting her self. "Just give me the ticket. I'm the one who prosecutes it. What do you think ill do with that ticket? lol". She literally laughs about falsely prosecuting a crime. I think this compromises every single case she has ever prosecuted. What other cases has she falsely prosecuted and laughed about? This woman is a criminal and the worst kind of criminal. She needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Tampering with evidence. The FBI needs to do a full investigation of this woman. At the very least, she needs to be fired with no pension.
It's not the cop's fault. She put him in a position where he feared losing his job. She flexed, and he backed off. Is it right? Of course not. But, it explains why the officer backpeddled. She just needs to get fired. She's a bully who abused her power. I have no sympathy for this tyrant.
Not only are elected officials not above the law but if they attempt to use their position as an entitlement to a different standard, that in and of itself should be criminal.

The point made about if this were just an ordinary citizen, what would have happened is legit. An ordinary citizen would have been ran off the road and pulled from their vehicle by gun point and arrested. She needs to understand this and resign!
For a first DWI in New York if you tell the judge you don't want probation and do time for time you 99% of the time get fines and 10 days in jail for first offense, its her probation violations just kept adding charges to her causing all this time now she has to do. If you can't do probation for any reason tell the judge at sentencing and you will get the minimum jail if it is your first offense. I feel bad for her that because of her bad choices she served 4 months plus six months in jail for a first DWI because judges hate probation violations. Learn from her everyone.
So sad the electric school bus proposition was voted against :( I really don't want kids being driven around by polluting, IQ lowering vehicles, not to mention how loud and annoying diesel school buses are.
Imagine being held at proverbial gunpoint and told you're gonna lose your job, visitation rights to your elderly family, access to medical care, the list goes on, and then this human cephalopod comes dancing down the aisle singing and handing out stickers 😭😵
