Pigeons have blind-spots when on their own so prefer to do things together, if you had waited for the others, it probably would have been much more relaxed. But interesting how it tests you to see how much you move your hand before it goes closer, its like a little mongoose. v cute.

Where'd you get that absolutely amorous, amazing, fast vibrato, Breanna? I absolutely love it! Most people have slow vibratos at 6 pitch-variations per second, and to me that's too slow. Any vibrato lower than 6.25 pitch variations per second I consider an inferior vibrato. Yes, it's fast, but I can still count them (like you can count 32nd notes). Your vibrato is dead-on 7 oscillations per second, and I'm absolutely sure it has been developed from learning to trill. The pitch actually varies quite a bit, which I love. If you listen to either the 13-year-old Laura Bretan, Denise Leigh, Joyce DiDonato or Cecilia Bartoli, these are the fastest yet deepest vibratos I've heard in the modern world, all of them coming in at dead-on 8 pitch variations per second, which is ridiculously rare, unfortunately. Though Snow White in the 1930's had a 10 vibrato. But on top of that, it's a really deep yet fast vibrato, which I just love. I guarantee you must have developed your amazing vibrato from either listening to Cecilia Bartoli or Joyce DiDonato, because your voice is, quite frankly, almost identical! Also, the amazing slides you put in your singing to use more expression - also phenominal! But take note that I'm a bagpiper, not a singer. In bagpiping, there's no such thing as air-vibrato, but there is finger vibrato. The faster finger-vibrato a piper has, the more dexterous they are. So this translates to the faster vocal vibrato a girl has, the more beautiful her voice is. One man known for fast finger vibrato is the late Martyn Bennet. Maybe try "Martyn Bennet the Magic Flute", arranged for Scottish Smallpipes. there is a type of bagpipe known as Smallpipes, most commonly in the key of A, rather than the B-flat of the Highland pipes. Speaking of bagpipes, in Southern Italy they use the Zampogna bagpipes to accompany voices, specially sopranos. I'm going to purchase a few of these unique bagpipes within the next year or so... maybe we could arrange a voice/Zampogna duet! Cool! Here is a traditional bass Zampogna in key of F (soprano chanter, rarely-used sopranina drone, tenor drone and bass chanter) played by a man who is also an operatic tenor: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JBDOk1ZH_M0.html A traditional bass Zampogna in G (soprano chanter, sopranina drone, tenor drone and bass chanter): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZtP4EfUvk7w.html A traditional soprano Zampogna in high C (soprano chanter, sopranina drone, tenor drone and alto chanter): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RASKy7FxfPs.html And a collection of tunes on a contemporary tenor Zampogna in G (soprano chanter, tenor chanter and bass chanter, no sopranina): ru-vid.com/show-UCTHkjd_79EMV-WBa5c2gHlw The tenor Zampogna is usually in the key of G, often played together with both a bass Zampogna in the same key and Ciaramelli which is the wife of the Zampogna, see here for a bass Zampogna, tenor Zampogna and Ciaramella: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dNcRNM-D3EQ.html Often the Zampogna is the accompaniment to a soprano in traditional rustic Southern Italian music, the soprano will usually play ciaramella as well as sing, alternatively a tenor will usually play the Ciaramella and sing: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fv13sAvvbeA.html By the way, there are several other singing voices I know you'll also really like. Some of these are in my liked videos, except for the last one Cecelia Brady. And all of the recordings, including the ones that aren't findable anymore, are in a big collection of amazing female voices I have entirely in MP3 format. Just feel free to ask me for the download link for that collection... you're in there! What they all have in common is a faster vibrato compared to the majority of singers. Thing is, too many opera singers grow up listening to slow vibratos from their teachers and unconsciously think that a slow vibrato is correct, not to mention of course not having the vocal agility for a fast vibrato given to them just by developing a trill. This is why there are only 30 or so opera singers that I've come across that sound good... including you! Not to mention jazz as well... again, I'm not a singer at all, just a bagpiper. Here are only a very few of the RU-vids of 185 or so amazing singers in my big collection: Cecilia Bartoli - professional coloratura soprano: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Idk5semjcco.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--Hlk8EDA02M.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-myfj2dvAuRU.html Joyce DiDonato - the American version of Bartoli more or less - professional opera soprano: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VqkYo4PSck0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xdmip3eNjaI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TiH7geEynWY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UReyfqj1bGw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Aft6aFPf6s.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MnKdSzDQM_8.html Denise Leigh - a blind opera singer with one of the best angelic voices ever - not the deepest vibrato, but also a volume-vibrato giving a real angelic dimention to her voice - perhaps because she is blind is why she has the best vibrato I've heard: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gmqmhyioTmA.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2qmZNiKbECk.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pvIXiYVQ-0M.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I3lBe0eM33U.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vCqivvPCXVg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ussp3MgPQj4.html Abby Fischer - a very similar voice to Bartoli or DiDonato - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nOENYJxkJfY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vb3QBJpkf4Q.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7mdhfAXsGGg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-If3StPqdyn0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1GaCUeeqP9Q.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V_k-eYHGspE.html Michele Esposito - of 1984 Amadeus movie fame: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--L7eh1aMU28.html Sarah Brightman, 1988 (her vibrato has been slower since then): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LSoohKgaB4Q.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ach-DLxcxyY.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-o2Fr0GdpiLI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ESUBrIgz_d0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cxdAoL_JSSs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2uFcpbQ3K64.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xYlXrOS42Zs.html Laura Bretan - my favorite young opera singer until recently when her vibrato too slowed down to a serious crawl - from Romania: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JRE0OJBLjIQ.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bp-ePqeMF3Q.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0h2jUYOvWxE.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rhZXEW5PhjI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IWheAW7uh-k.html Jennifer Sgroe - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TEMRzMvMxa0.html Shana Doyle - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-waoRi7Tk4oM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7fWAa6ip7KU.html Abby Becker - good vibrato yet totally expressionless - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AWdioT1CsFo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PNSsUaZDapg.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ZbNOQqAe7c.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jrV80YSt8TI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--4cgxSYEVCM.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lLK0hocjom0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8f_IqqRHm34.html Hayley Marie Harder - Musical Theater, jazz and opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3_dGUIFrMNU.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QxbEjjEcv0c.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_v-VdVkh_QE.html Kate Reynolds - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1tN5yD7uNKo.html Abby Linig - opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c6xjCITy_Gw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Um4pTmnsADQ.html Merissa Beddows - 12 years old, very expressive, completely self-taught opera singer (totally un-trained, only having listened to recordings): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NlcrBsi_A6w.html Nicola Klein - musical theater, opera: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JEJiRjbXZCo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0EyBE_M2SaE.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m1-bYU1H54g.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tS33gs31Tpg.html Finally - my recording of opera singer Cecelia Brady (recommended to read the description): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PJSlo9UeRqI.html So who's your favorite? Breanna, your vibrato rocks! Keep your fast vibrato, don't slow it down! Even on your low notes, it's still amazing. If all girls had this vibrato, that would be the best. You also have quite a wide range too. Just so you know there is someone listening to you... Lastly, If anyone thinks her vibrato is too fast, you're wrong. It's good, and in fact according to voice scientist David Jones, a healthy vibrato is a fast one. Whoever prefers slow vibrato really has to short-change their opinions real quick! Like, Damrau has THE UGLIEST VIBRATO I'VE EVER HEARD!

How lovely they are, these little creatures. And how much of their loveliness is due to their lifelong voyage of learning, and our observation of their lifelong voyage of learning. I think it is more deeply beautiful than any flower just to watch them develop in this way.

This observation is deeply beautiful. Thank you for sharing it! I call one of the other cats (Pumpkin) "Professor" because she loves to write dissertations (aka sit on the keyboard), and it's clearly this kitten right here who is learning and also teaching. He doesn't mean to teach me things, or I don't set out to learn them, but I do. I learn the most important lessons from the little furry babies.

Just some info ... Those are not really "sound" connectors on the side of the camera ... This unit had a matching projector with the same connectors on it ... You would also have a "cassette" tape recorder with these ... You would have a special cable that plugged into those 2 connectors and then into the cassette recorder .... You would shoot your film and the camera would control the cassette recorder ... The cassette recorder would record the audio while you shot the film .... At the end once you got the film developed you would connect that cassette recorder to the projector ... The projector would control the cassette recorder and the sound would play from this cassette recorder while the projector showed the movie film.
@beatgoddess

Wow, thank you! This is great information. I wish I had found the "cassette recorder" or any "cassettes," which leads me to wonder if my grandfather ever even recorded sound with his movies.

Gldfish78 Ugh, that stinks! I'm so sorry. Our vet said that nobody seems to know exactly what it is; a shot of cortisone did help, but she gets it pretty regularly (a few times a year). Right now, Pumpkin has less pigment in her actual skin. My vet said that it could be any kind of allergy but that I would need to take her to a vet dermatologist to be absolutely sure. I hope that helps! Good luck!

@@beatgoddess My black kitty is having the exact same issue. He gets a steroid and antibiotic shot about 3x a year for it and it gets better within a few days. The vet has absolutely no explanation for it. He is 3 years old and it just started happening about a year to a year and a half ago. He loses fur around his eyes and nose and gets scabs right in front of his ears where the skin is thin. He doesn't have fleas, no ringworm, and they've ruled out allergies.

I'm so nervous about flying now that I've gained so much weight. I have not flown since 1998 and I was 18 then and in great shape. In the last few years I was diagnosed with a hormonal disorder that has made me gain a large amount of weight almost 200 lbs. My husband booked me a surprise trip to Vegas to see my nephew and I was so excited. That is until I realized I was going to have to put up with the airlines and rude passengers making indirect commentary about me and my excess baggage. Now the worry I'm feeling over the flying part is seriously taking away from the joy I was feeling about getting to see my nephew. I have only two months before the trip to lose weight so obviously it is impossible to lose it all but I can hope to lose some. Even then it would probably not be enough to stop some ignorant person behind me from going on and on like the chick behind you. I have to say you handled the situation with more class than she will ever know in her entire lifetime.
