What a joke! Electric isn’t the solution or the future. Anyone with a brain knows this. E1 will not make it and shouldn’t make it. The amount of emissions and earth these electric morons destroy and consume is far more than natural gas. You don’t even know how to recycle or destroy the used old batteries. You are the problem with the world.
Does anyone else hear "HYDRO-THUNDER" in your head when you see this? Just me? I swear, the engineers of this grew up playing hydro-thunder on their OG PS and built the best boat IRL. MISBEHAVE!
I want know about the power system but even basic power rules but nothing seen yet. I agree, it looks boring. Put a seppo in charge for next season please.
Looking at the foils, they don’t look particularly advanced and the profiles are higher drag than optimal. Very surprised also that they are using a very conventional propeller instead of the latest, more efficient toroidal props.
I can't see any wisdom behind using a hydrofoil design. Despite being a very small craft, the huge wake and terrible water disruption around the foils evidence the fact that it simply pushes too much water. Wouldn't these boats be far more efficient on a cushion of air? I encourage you to reexamine the concept and consider a more traditional "hydroplane" design.
