My son who is 14 has a 68 degree curve and is set to have his surgery on the 26th of Sept, I am scared for him cause he made the decision and also has a rare syndrome called OHN1 , but I am just trying to calm my mama nerves and really understand better then i thought i already knew. wow I had my surgery 8 months ago, for me was a bit of a slow recovery, i had lung complications after surgery and had to be back at therapy room , but glad also people were nice and lovely, this remind me of me , i cried when i first walked with a straight back, i grew 6 cm , rember better healthy even if a slow recovery, take care
Hiiiii writting u to ask something related to stitches marks as 5 year ago even i got into surgery of scoliosis and i had stiches marks on my whle back which make me super uncomfortable or maybe the society so did u ger rid of these or they lower down with time
Thank you for sharing this. Seeing you standing for the first time after your surgery reminded me of mine, or made me feel a little emotional, too. My hospital room layout was so similar. It is sort of a unique experience, isn't it - relearning how to do stairs, being taller, etc.!
