Interesting video. Another tip is to try and get to know the owners as some of them don’t mind talking about their cars. You can get advanced heads up info as to when and where they will be. I’ve met some really nice spotters over the years, peppered with a few idiots unfortunately, but generally the spotting community in London is a nice place to be.
Getting impatient. Frustrated that AZ has not yet released sales to us buyers who've already put our deposits in. Was hoping for April but looks like it's going to be much longer :( Ordered the exact model color and rims.
No hate taken but it does turn heads and the sound is very aggressive, a bit more than my s65 either way a maybach and jaguar xf r is a great purchase, we got these helcat owners looking and trying 😀 😉
Good vid and I am an ex lorry driver of 40 plus years and have driven meny VOLVO TRUCKS just so you can tell your mates the inside door handles are the same as you would have got inside F7/F10/F12 lorry’s of the 70s /80s
I suggest you do some better research and preparation if you are going to quote specifications. The wheel size from Jaguar is a 20-inch with staggered fitment front to rear. The vehicle weight is UNDER 2 tonne at 1,987 kgs (4,380 lbs). I stopped watching after these two errors.
It’s not a fact based channel, if that’s your sort of thing, maybe channels like carwow are for you, sorry you didn’t enjoy, new to RU-vid and always trying my best to do what I can. But unfortunately my memory isn’t the best. Appreciate the feedback
Sorry you didn’t enjoy the video, still new to RU-vid and trying my hardest to do the best I can with what I can afford. Hopefully better in the future. Apologies again
Hello ! Is that a Nismo ? Or Nismo conversion ? I own a 40th anniversary edition 370z with 50k miles and I’m interested in converting it to a Nismo body kit. However, it’s a bit pricey and they will charge 20% if I return the kit. I’m hesitant in purchasing the kit but it looks like it fits well.
That looks a nice eample young man. It's not a "weird car", but your ears a weird. I had my first Jaguar, an 4.2L Series SWB XJ6 in my twenties. I couldn't care less at the time if people thought it was an "old mans car". It was my Jaguar and that was all that mattered. When I was a 8yrs old my dad bought a 420G, and that car set me as a Jaguar fan for life. Sapphire blue is a great colour. The headling has sagged and its been stuck back up using interior door trim "fir tree clips". Jaguar headling's were made initially by Pressed Felts in Colne, Lancashire, it became, John Cotton also in Colne, Lancashire, it was bought out by Lear Corporation. Blame the supplier everyone, not Jaguar! Chroming the wheels, they might look great or too much? You need to pass your driving test young man, the Jag will detriorate if its only started and moved around a yard, it needs to be driven. I have recently bought a Jaguar XJ8 which has suffered as a result of being stood. I will repair it and us it. In 1999, when Ford bought Jaguar they did a number of things. Improved manufacturing methods, parts availability, engineering resources and lets face it, improved reliability. Without Ford, Jaguar may not have survived? Now, Jaguar as you know is owned by TATA Motors of India and have joint venture factory making Jaguar Land Rover products in China.
Thanks a lot for all the info! And yes my ears are about as weird as it gets. Glad you like the car tho, and the wheels are definitely going chrome. And don’t worry car is being driven, will be on learners insurance for now and being driven when I can.
@Sam-px8le none at all. I had the same set up on an XFR and the drone was absolutely killer though, different cat/mid box on the R-S that seems to make the difference.
It’s beautiful! Especially in that blue. Most of these are in black usually. I totally get why you got it. Just bought a 2003 s80 2.9 in moon dust silver and I love it. It’s a massive tank and so comfy to cruise in. Love ur vids so far, cheers mate.
Hi, I had a similar issue, try changing the gearbox inhibitor switch which sits underneath the plastic housing by the 'P' which releases the gear stalk
I would have owned a Jag XJ when I was 23 if I could have afforded it ! As it was, I had a Rover 2600 Vanden Plas SD1 AND a Triumph 2500PI instead when I was 23, followed by a Saab 900 T16S.
X300 is such an excellent car. Jaguar had got it properly sorted as the car and engine and been around essentially since 1986 and 1983 respectively, so had many opportunities to get it right. Love those wheels. Only bettered by the XJ220-esque XJR-6 wheels IMO although the V8 XJR wheels also look good.
I had a 4.0 Sport and was the best Jaguar I have ever owned. Rust underneath and on wheel arches is the biggest enemy now. The digital clock displays always went faint but can easily be replaced and the roof headlining always sag. Hence why yours is pinned. Should be smooth from new. Can be replaced by a trim specialist for about £350. The Sport models had all black trim around the windows as well. Enjoy your great car. The straight 6 engine won't let you down!
