over 2 months later and i watched this entire adventure. i think i get why you get people in your stream saying that Master Quest is harder, as MQ is the Paper Mario we're all used to playing, but DSE is more a Paper Mario ++ where Shadeblade gave players the tools they needed in order to succeed. i think when i am ready to tackle the Hardtypes, i will leave DSE for last as sort of a reward for beating Master Quest, as there is just so much more to do.
@randomman133 using Kooper or bombette probably would've been better in terms of overall damage but I was trying to focus heavy damage on the green one with Goombario since it couldn't be knocked over.
One question. If you don't earn more star points, it's no use the "bump attack" badge to skip the unnecessary battles? Or the badge it's not work with these enemies?
Two things: 1) To say that im inpressed with how you dealt with SSJ3 master is an understatement. I went with a Berserker × Merlee strat and simply PRAYED that it'd work xD 2) I swear for lord Nintendo reps watch these mods and say "Write that shit down, WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN"! First it was the unfair magolor, now we got this wombo combo for Prince Mush 💀
I remember fighting the Dark Traveler. Those Void Cubes only serve to mess up your targeting if you are not paying attention. If you take it slow and be mindful of what you're targeting with your attacks, he's easy.
Btw he used to said he was tricked by hooktail, he didn't tell what trick he fell for but in the remake they HAD to say that "Yeah koop's dad tried to sniff her feet"
I started a curse only run (as soon as you get it permanent 1.5x) and I'm up to chapter 4 in 27 hours of gameplay. Stuck on trying to find a solution to the anti-guy, not even on the boss yet which has an anti!
@BertBro Yeah, stellar guard seems really good with Volt/Zap Tap to prolong some damage with shrink jump on the big hit turn. I overleveled to 13 and about to hit 14. Yummy meals is the best food item I've been able to make so far. Honestly happy I made it this far since it's my first romhack, got stuck at the act 1 boss for longer then I care to admit.
@BertBro Thanks for the help, I was able to record it and get a nice video out of it! Honestly wasn't too bad when I level capped myself and just stat checked the anti-guy.
I wonder if it's possible to change the flower graphic for every instance of FP damage, since the HP damage-over-time graphic looked like a decaying heart, and all that.
I don't know how you go so far in Sen's and your only reaction to dying is "oh gee darnit gotta try agan". Also I don't even know if you've upgraded your weapons at all (this is the first vid of yours I've watched). Regardless, it's very interesting seeing new players find their wy through the game and I can respect that.
