@@Randy-lf2dp no bother buddy sirio tried to say it was my fault but 3 of my friends had exactly the same problem in less than two years and one friend with the sirio vector 4000 the self tapping screws fell out of his sections too..... The antenna is still up and working well with the repairs I done to it.... But the point remains.... You should not have to do these things you don't bye a Mercedes car and expect to re hang the doors because the bolts fell out after a year nor should you have to re engineer a sirio 827 after 9-10 months
@@udx-483muddbucket5 thanks I was very lucky... There has been no skip conditions in Ireland since last Friday.... The strong aroura conditions has killed off the propagation completely... I had sat down for a coffee flicked the radio on and there he was, there was just him and one guy from 34 division on the whole band.... ten minutes later every thing was gone again

@user-xs6kn2hb2b save yourself some extra work in the future cut slots in the tubes and fit some hose cramps / jubilee clips on it then chuck the grub screws in the bin and drill straight through 5mm then put in m5 ss bolts instead of the grub screws ..... or you'll be taking it down again sometime in the future
@29fb040 I'm getting the old 827 with hose clips not like the new sireo tornado with plastic parts 🙄 but saying that the 2016 sireo has plastic connectors and tiny screws. They truly let themselves down with this antenna from the 2008/2016 all plastic parts. The reason I'm going old sireo stronger and better performance.
@user-xs6kn2hb2b then you best download an instruction manual for that model ..... there is no guarantee the tube lengths are the same so the top section may not be 300mm
pushing that amp in to linear compression creates a poor output signal creating poor audio and harmonics. 3rd harmonic in the FM broadcast band. the amps filters are designed for 28mhz not 27mhz. not to mention the damage to the valves. you deserve to get busted.
I do love the mk1 lincoln easily my favourite radio from the 90's .I still remember the 1st time i laid eyes on one and herd it on the air .The one you have there is still going strong

Beautiful Bali Sharks I believe they are and your Loach seems quite content with his environment. I would like to have another aquarium. I doubt I ever will but if so I don't think I'll go smaller than 100 gallons, maybe twice that. I found it was easier to control a large body. Also lots of room for some African Cichlids. ✌✌

@@udx-483muddbucket5 mine is supposed to represent a well oxygenated section of borneo / sumartan river bed the fish are 4 Bala sharks.... 15 green and tiger barb mix... Two aisian algae eating loaches.... 3 siamiese algae eaters..... And 2 featherfin squeaker catfish the full tank can been seen in other videos the barbs are now 5 years old and the odd one has been dying off I may buy more when the shoal. Gets to below 10 and I may let them die out and replace them with something else..... I may try odessa barbs they are a lovely colour when they mature similar size as tiger barbs but less nippy although I find in a big well planted tank with lots of rock and bogwood Tiger barb aggression is minimal. And not a problem. I used to have tanks everywhere and into breeding fish and stuff but you grow outta that eventually..... had a cherry shrimp tank a danio tank an Endler guppy and shrimp tank a goldfish tank and that big tank.... I have it now 35 years it's had everything from wild brown trout to koi carp from tinfoil barbs to Angelfish to huge shoals of small fish.... Yet other than angelfish I have never kept cichlids

These rigs are useless on 27 Mhz transmit. It should be common knowledge by now, that when you transmit on 27 Mhz with these things, you get maybe one miliwatt of 27 Mhz output and a few watts of harmonics spread out between 54,81,108,135,162,189, 216 Mhz etc etc. But people who don't know what they're talking about keep saying that's nonsense, they made a contact with their mate on 27 Mhz with one. And here we are. There are a few bods who've done a hardware mod and put filtering for 27/28 Mhz in the transmit strip. But it's so much effort and takes so much experience and skill that the average user would really be better off buying a handheld designed for CB. Which will work much better than a hardware modded Quansheng anyway.

I have the KL-505v it's is the ham radio vision of the KL-505 it takes 10 watts imput and gives around 240 pep out..... It has much wider band usage than the cb vision the kl-505 which takes a higher imput and gives 300 out but it's not as clean modulation.... The cb radios are only on an 827 vertical antenna and just toys.... For serious dx I use hf radio an lfa beam and the acom 1010
@@29fb040 i know the old lincoln radios. My cb time is over 30 years ago, but the old man have that lincolns in my youth time. I have a old Sirtel S 2000 5/8 Base Antenna polished up and rebuild my station next time. Looking for a good AM FM SSB radio. I think a good catch is the new Anytone 6666 pro. Washington is very expensive. Lincoln 2 + is a good radio too.
