From Shibuya's perspective, what are some possible drawbacks if using the stiffer sight on a lower poundage bow? e.g., if I shoot at 38lbs and at 44lbs, would I see any possible downsides in using the A model on the 38lbs?
Hello guys im interested in buying one but asking the overall diameter of the scope housing please . I shot longer distances and worried if the scope to big a diameter want get 100yards 90m because of arrow Fletchings hitting the scope
Is there any chance the feather vision lens breaking, when screwing the lens retainer ring into it? Also, should there not be a o ring between the sunshade and the retainer ring?
When I tried to adjust the marking pin, I accidentally loosened a UL-46 screw. Thanks for the video! By being able to see the inside of the sight, I was able to make sure that all 4 screws were screwed in the same way again. Thanks SHIBUYA Team & Great!
When are you guys going to give us a sliding clicking ball bearing retention system for the sight bar? Take the guess work out of aligning the bar to the correct position so I don’t have to worry that I’m clamping down in the wrong spot and destroying the detent on my 700 dollar sight
Feedback noted! In case you didn't notice, there are little notches on the top edge of the carbon bar that line up with the edge of the sight mount on the PRO sights.
Just what i needed, though not for the purpose of the click ball. I was struggling to think how i would get that circlip out of the windage block but your method looks good. Previous owner of the sight somehow wore out the plastic bearing on the knob on half the diameter!
My god I love archery. Compounds are so much damn fun, but I hate that I either need an expensive and bulky bow press or I have to drive to the nearest pro shop in the next county over for simple tuning
James Lutz in my opinion is one of the most incredible archers on the planet. I love his enthusiasm, honesty, hard work. He's really the reason I shoot a bow today, I hope I get a chance to meet him and take a photo with him. I feel like my heart would pop out of my chest from if I met James Lutz. James Lutz good luck to you, you inspire me to shoot better, practice and learn. You are an excellent example how archery isn't a one size fits all sport and how everyone has a journey ahead of them to find the approach that works for them. Unfortunately I've never owned a Shibuya sight, it has been too expensive for me to afford, my expenses always catch up with me, but I've seen some incredible archers with this sight and I am convinced that Shibuya makes an excellent product.
As someone from the UK, it's great to see many female archers rank highly. Penny, Bryoni, Ella off the top of my head. I've only started doing archery about a year and a half ago, I'd love to take it competitively and be able to practise 5-6 days a week, but my job and other commitments get in the way of that.
Usually, archers will shoot 2-3 distances (around 20-30 and 60-70m or yards), and compare their sight marks with the included sight tapes. If you can't find one that is close enough for your marks, we recommend Archer's Advantage or Archer's Mark to make custom sight tapes to print.
Thank you for the comment! The CPXIII is our midrange sight, it does not have the front disconnect and improved carbon extension/mount system and comes at a lower price than the CP PRO.
stabilizer philosophies are very varied and there are definitely trends that come and go too. It takes some fiddling but personally I shoot well with a single rear.

Hello, the CPXIII is our budget alternative and has less features than the CP PRO. If you get the CP PRO, you will get all the features of the CPXIII, and additionally a front disconnect, a full set of metal sight scales, and the new polygonal carbon extension that features more rigidity and vibration damping.
Cp pro isn’t worth the 25% price increase! Best feature it has that the cpx 3 doesn’t is the front disconnect and you don’t need that if u don’t travel a lot… just one more thing that can go wrong! They’re all build out of the same materials and to the same standards so I wouldn’t call the CPX 3 budget version. A budget version would be a lot less money and built from cheaper materials or in china …. Well call it a language barrier !
The first time I used my brand new Shibuya Ultima CP Pro 400-6 Compound Sight, I turned the knob to change my elevation and the small click ball fell out. it had obviously not been assembled properly with too knob not fitted completely . After an hour of searching in the grass I finally managed to find it and reinstall it. Maybe this is the type of cheap serviceable parts, together with the springs, that Shibuya should supply as part of the kit with a new sight.

Hi Please can anybody tell me the location even the part number for the bubble used on the Okulus scope .Dropped this while cleaning and the B...dog got hold of it and scratched badly the bubble. I need to replace it and cant see a location to buy it ,the only option seems to buy the whole frame which is a huge expense , can any body help please as its a very specific size

I have in the meantime of receiving your reply sent two emails to Shibuya Pro shop in Tokyo which have been sent in both Japanese and English I have had no reply. The proshop had these items on the website for purchase. In this case whilst I thank you for your information where on this earth can I buy the yellow version . As you can Image a considerable investment has been made in the sight and I want to use it , so your further help will be appreciated. I would also like to confirm having measured the lens opening that accepts the lens the lens diameter is definitely 29mm. for which I have purchased a feather vision 29 mm lens. Not sure where the 32mm dia comes from ? Look forward to your rely Regards john
Hi Eventually I ordered the yellow level from Quicks Archery in the uk AND IT ARRIVED !!! BUT BUT ...Shibuya have let me and 2 shops down ; in the uk , very badly. I have an order in at Quicks which has been delayed weeks and weeks now months. I understand no replies have been received from Shibuya despite repeated emails from your main importer. Its bad enough to be missing parts but to be ignored by Shibuya does nothing to help Shibuya reputation. Quicks Archery acting for other shops as a main importer is left embarrassed . Shibuya at least tell your customers when you plan to ship dont just ignore them ? what Have you got to say for your selves ??
Wherever you get Shibuya sights! Any of our distributors can order any part separately, and several of them stock them - I believe JVD and Lancaster have the widest variety.
Hello, thanks for great video! I would like to ask who should buy the 9" version because what I've seen that almost all compound archers are using the 6" version. What I don't understand is that 9" smaller setting is still longer than max 6" setting. Thanks
Hi, for a compound bow the 6" is enough in most cases. some archers feel the 9" bar helps them minimize perceived movement while aiming. In compound archery, extension length is more useful for adjusting peep-to-scope size ratio or scope-to-target for distance judging.
