Hi I'm Cat, I love art and crafting and I want to share my ideas with all of you.
I also enjoy, thrift shopping, the Dollar Tree, cats, cooking, makeup, costumes, miniatures, horror movies, Halloween, and all things spooky. You never know what you might find here!
I just found your channel and it is hysterical, informative and just plain fun all wrapped up in one video. I love your content please keep making it for us. It doesn't have to be fancy it's still a lot of fun to see things being repurposed for those of us that are broke as a joke LOL😂
Awesome! Thank you! You guys are amazing for watching and supporting me, and I feel like a bum for having neglected my channel for over a year now! "Life"gets in the way...but I really miss making videos and hope to be able to start balancing things better soon, so I can share more!
"Life" has gotten in my way, lol. But I hope to get back to it soon. Unless you were saying I shouldn't make anymore videos...in which case, thank you for your feedback, lol.
Hi, I’m new! I just started setting my obsession with miniatures. Your way of making books is my favorite so far. I am collecting thimbles for flower pots and furniture bases. Any more ideas for thimbles? I need to turn this stuff into 1:12 scale but you taught me a lot today. Thanks for a great video!
Aw thanks!! I actually am not sure on the thimbles, I bought a whole bag of them and have only used the one 🤣 but if I think of something I'm sure I'll put it into a video lol
This is adorable. I find these little Dioramas so imaginative. Very nice work with the lighting. Even before the Lightning.😄 Thanks very well done and enjoyable.🌹
Very nice. I love your imagination. Im hooked on miniatures ever since they started coming through my video feeds. When I was a little girl I would make small things from rocks & stones. Miniatures are lots of fun
Thank you! I, like many I've seenonline, got into miniatures as an adult because I always loved them as a kid but could never afford them... and of course wouldn't have had the patience to make my own things, lol. Making up for lost time.
I feel your pain with your kitty. My cat always wants to be on my lap or on my table. Also, I dip into a variety of crafts. Lately, I've been looking at miniatures, but I do stuff with wood, cardboard, recycling, and molds.
That's a list of my favorite things lately lol. I need to get out of my rut so I can get back to youtube. It's been over a year with no videos now. 😕 work/life/hobby balance can be so hard 😫 but I appreciate you watching and commenting! I hope I'll be back soon.
It was so long ago that I honestly don't recall, but it was too runny from adding glue, so don't do that, lol. I say you can probably just eyeball it and mix until you get a consistency like real frosting. I will tell you that I put them out for Christmas again this year, and they still look great, with no yellowing. They did have some crumbles come off here and there, but nothing noticeable.
LOve your diy and so awesome. Very cute! Where did you find the gingerbread man/woman? I was trying to find it on amazon and not sure which, let me know. Thank you!
I believe it was from Target dollar spot. It was a set of 2, or maybe 3, boxes that nestled inside one another...that was the largest one. That dollar spot gets some good stuff to use as bases. Some is $3 or $5 dolaltd, vs $1.25 at Dollar tree, but it's usually bigger and nicer quality. I also look for boxes and shadowbox frames at Savers/thrift shops/ yard sales, etc. If you're going to cover or paint it, you can use just about anything... like cardboard, shoe boxes, tins, etc. (unless you specifically want wood).
Lol happens to me too 😄 I never go into anything with a plan and think it will be easy....then it takes me ages cause I go overboard with tiny details and getting things "just right". lol. But I'm usually happy with the result so it's worth the hard work I think? Lol
I love watching Bently House miniatures and your video popped up. I almost didnt watch it, but so glad I did. I am so amazed that you picked something so detailed as the Addam's house to recreate in a miniature miniature! Well done. Love the Elvis too. Now I'm going to have to add you to my collection of miniature makers.
Thank you!! That's good to hear becaue I've decided to focus my channel on minis vs crafts...I might have to throw some crafts in here and there until I use up my crafts stash but I think the evetual goal is minis! I've been on a hiatus but I'll be back soon with mini videos, I was gifted a huge dollhouse!
I'm sure your aunt loved and appreciated this little room of yours. I've been collecting all sorts of things lately to make a miniature world. I enjoyed your video and the efforts you put in to change objects from so so to make them yours. I also had a laugh about your cat getting in the way. They are such sticky beaks..lol.
Lol yes indeed, but I can't live without them. Thank you! My aunt was very happy. And I'm glad you're collecting mini stuff, it's so fun. It also becomes addicting very quickly lol.
That is so pretty. I am sure your really appreciated the time you put into making it for you. And that she loved it. Right now l am building a greenhouse out of old magazines pages rolled up using a shewer. I just came across your channel this evening.
That's awesome, I'm going to be starting a full dollhouse soon, I plan to make a greenhouse for it...I got square wood dowels. I hope I can pull it off lol
@@wastedtalentarts l am sure you'll do ok with it. With my greenhouse l have no set version for it in advance. I am the type that gets the inspiration as l go. Sometimes can take me up to 6 mos to complete a project.
