Price is relative to what you are used to for sure and your level of engagement within the bike industry. In our opinion this Rocky Mountain Blizzard fat tire bike definitely fits the title of best bang for your buck. Consider that many fat tire bikes reach well into the 2K range and even 3K. Of course there are those that are well below the $1900 price but the old adage of "you get what you pay for" always rings true with bikes! I always like to say a good quality bike with great components comes with an excellent and enjoyable riding experience as well!
That color on the 20 makes what should be an easy Buy signal tough. I'd rather pay the $800 more for the copper color that preceded it. Have one of those? For the person that asked, the Syncros wheelset uses DT Swiss hubs
These are gravel bikes and not mountain bikes just to be clear. Also we would suggest that if you rode a bike like this for a short period of time as compared to one from the 90's you would definitely see some huge improvements. The drivetrain alone will be night and day different from a bike that was made in the 90's.
Have the 2022 version of the Addict Gravel 30. Such a smooth and fast bike. Also think the 2022 colours are better than this year and I got it for a very very good price; $4000 CAD or just under $3000 USD new. Had to wait over a year for it though but not a single regret!
nice video now i see thal color live.. a little bether.. also the normal version has also 160mm at front SCOTT GENIUS 910 BIKE Artikel : 290144 KEY FEATURES Genius Carbon HMF-Alu-Rahmen FOX 36 Float Perf. Elite 160 mm Gabel FOX Nude 5T EVOL, TwinLoc, 150 mm
Carbon paper won't work in our area... Clip a rock hidden in the snow and the Carbon paper will crack in the cold temps... All most every fat bike racer in our area is using aluminum or titanium frame and forks... 3 too 4 times stronger,,, they can withstand the big hits year after year and never break... Try selling a carbon paper frame bike if it has a nick or chip in the frame or forks... Yha won't even get an offer since there not worth nothing when you go too sell it... Wize folks don't buy used carbon paper framed bikes since no one wants too risk buying someone else junk... If its been repainted that's a prime indication that it's been damaged... Would you your self buy a used carbon paper framed bike... I highly doubt it... Just saying is all... If you need to save 3 1/2 lbs go on a diet
Been running Carbon Fat Bikes since winter 2016/17. Just sold a 9:Zero:7 White out Carbon and now have Blizzard C50. No issues at all with carbon. I live in Eastern Canada. No issues selling my Carbon Trek Farley before that. Apparently you are an idiot and do t know what you are talking about 😂
I’m about 6 rides in on mine. I thought the brakes were an upgrade I’d want but so far I’m fine with the mechanicals. I’ll stud the tires eventually, and I’ve already put on some Pedalling Innovation Catalyst pedals. 👌
Respect Rocky Mountain rigs. Just seems prudent that at least one AL frame of the Blizzard, should have an optional carbon fork. XL Blizzard 10, is in the box next to the tree awaiting Christmas morning. With a front studded tire under the tree for those commuting days in a blizzard.
Thanks for the show. I’ve been mountain biking since 2020! I live in Rexburg and am coaching the youth team. My adult son is now helping coach as well. I feel the same as the Winns in their love for mountain biking and riding with each other. I wish I could have started doing this when I was a lot younger. How can we encourage more people who feel the financial strain of buying a nice bike to start this kind of hobby? In 2020 I never imagined what kind of money could be spent on a mountain bike and I think that scares many people away from even giving it a try. Now I have a mountain bike, fat bike and e-mountain bike. How did I get here!? What are the options for those that want to try it out? I know if you don’t have the right bike you won’t enjoy it and you won’t keep riding.
Hey Aaron, 1st time i have seen this but i bought my 2019 Instinct BC from you over the phone. I sold it about 6 months ago and been thinking of a 2022 130 T-2 size M with XO build, that Watermelon color is HOTTT, i sent Landon an email yesterday wondering if you guys had any available? Really considering the 115 or 130 right now
