Just discovered this intensive video jam packed with projects and progress. For only a month into the school year the amazing amount of work and progress here is noteworthy showing brand new students and upper classmates doing advanced work. There is no time for slacking or shortage of work. From mail boxes to rat ride bikes the class is learning and putting out professional quality work to completion. What an opportunity for employment with hands on shop work and completed projects showing attention to detail. Collision and repair is a need for immediate technicians offering immediate employment. 2024 25 showing lots of promise early in the school year and work speaks for itself!
Awesome job by all! I have a 97 GMC K1500 w/ only 183k miles. I would not hesitate to let you and your students work on her! Great skills they are learning!
I painted F-16s and A-10s in the Air Force. I'm a Vet now but I miss painting. I got out in 2015 and want to get back into it. Gonna talk to my son about going to y'alls school. He got an offer.
Well we are big fans if this channel snd have enjoyed the entire year from newbies to class of 2024. Certainly s tear yo remember the hundreds of hours snd the many helping hands to complete do.msny varied projects. With a wide variety of show quality drag trucks to a quiet evening at jome on an historic sussex county park bench with the red Aunt Terry finally going home its a fond fairwell to all those students selected for this highly sought after class. So fir now its see you in Sept as Mr. Jones ince again weaves his magic on young minds who will fir sure find work in collision repair.!!!!!
I really hate to say it but you are really a POS for making everybody watch that video and you don't even have a finished product on it he wasted so many people's time wanting to see the finished product you should have never even posted it if you didn't have a complete video
By far the most amazing video of the Year featuring the Double Gun Guys and a real panel replacement of a severely damaged quarter that was clearly unfixable. From bumper redo to saving a rusty top and a complete interior loss and stain to a lime green overall truck color change and the large full size truck bed the 2024 efforts are among the best ever done here since this program came up to full speed. This is a prime example of fully employable students right out of high school. Tax dollars with immediate return for a much needed technicians can go to work the next day after graduation. This IS success !!!!!! So very well done.....
Beautiful job well done I have an 86 f250 thats going to get restored piece by piece where did you get your parts from mine is in sad shape and needs alot of tlc
Looking back to paint an original proto type double ram aur hood that was right out of the mould. This was never done except by irigional Ford Motor Company staff un 1966. This attrmpt was made oerfect by countless hoyrs if blick sanding and sealer. The final paint work dine bt a beginning painter reflects the care and supervision if a teacher working closely to make anowrfect job out of a very rough part that could have not been saved. A very well done part replacing a terrible deer strike so common in this area. Many thanks Sussex Tech auto!
Welcome back to the 60s and a really original drop top Pontiac Tempest. This is purest of pure original Pontiac culture convertible. It is about to be shared with a third generation of family perhaps in a reunion or sunny July day at the Ocean. The stuff of memories of Americana. Once you have had a convertible nothing else works!!!!!!! Where is that Coppertone?
Nice job, ladies and gentlemen! Tell the girls the only way you can get a good paintjob is with awesome prep.they nailed it. I've got a 68 karmann Ghia that I wanted to have a high-school vo-tech do the body and paint, thinking it would be a good learning opportunity because it's a two piece body and all but I can't find a school that takes in outside projects. Curious about this project ? Who's truck? A doner, a student, teacher? Thanks for confirming my choice of paint, though, rootbeer metallic!
@@MrPeeteboy It belonged to a member of the community. I really try to stay away from all over paint jobs, but it was a cool truck and the guy bugged me for a couple years.
This is toughest job is a long time. Requiring many students and contact hours to work repairs on severely rusted rockets and panels. Project moving along very well to show closing of structure and sheet metal pieces. Hoping to see more of these multiple projects and final product reveal. The plasma cutter was super cool and saved hours of cutting and broken saw blades. Very nice so far. Keeping the spring pace going strong!!!!!
Oh yeah finally time to get some color on this bed. Been waiting to bring this project into the booth. First time ever to get 2 guns running at same time in base and clear. Springtime green on the first week of spring semester. Can't wait to see the reveal.
Hello friend, I like your workmanship, I want to do a project like this, I have the same body, I want to paint it, but I'm afraid, can you write the list of materials you used?
Winter semester showing lots of progress with new faces of confidence. The red vehicle with the redo clear coat is perfect example of airborne particles that sometimes slip past filters even w exact temp control. Invisible lint settles in clear. The second clear coat repair makes lint disappear and customers never know of how much more work and materials are needed. The lesson learned here is there are cost variables that could add to the final delivery. Nothing shows perfection like a red car and a happy customer smile at reveal just like me counting cars!!!!!! Very very nice!
Seeing an original unmolested car return to the street in its factory style and paint scheme is so refreshing for another generation to enjoy. Nostalgia is alive anf heading to the Fird Falcon Nationals!
