I made decent with some $30 surge and majority came from private rides. Now we are dealing with extremely low rates however passengers are still being charged higher rates.
Yes it's happened to me. I calculated total could be $50-100. Talked to customer service but they just slide me to 9 peoples total because they cant answer me. And mostly the CS name are Mohini, rohit, Deepka, sahil, gurav etc😂😂 i tried to call the number it never go through!
Uber can’t fire/ deactivate you for declining orders you are a sub contractor. Why would you accept those orders? I drive for all the apps but refuse to take free orders like you’re doing. If you and other drivers would act like me and refuse to take those orders customers will start tipping more cause they won’t ever get their delivery picked up.
I am in tampa it's horrible you are extremely lucky to get $1 a mile. Most of the times it's much less and if you manage to get $1 a mile you get stuck in traffic. I've driven in Orlando and refuse to take trips to Orlando due to over saturated market 😒 cash rides are the only thing I take to Orlando.
So you want to say that you don't recommend working in Orlando. Yes, that's right, because I want to move to Orlando and start earning money for uber for now. If you can earn $200 or $300 a day, that will help me feed my family and the elevator, respectively. Does it work?
I was gonna go to PIE last night but ended up going back to TIA around 11:45 pm. No airport issues. Actually I get offers as soon as I enter the airport waiting lot. I'll be out tonight till 1am. I usually hit up the airports when it's busy and not every Cuban and their cousins standing around lol😂
Some people were getting locked out of their accounts and couldn't log back in. Good to see the 70% uber takes is going to upstanding tech just like the driver support 😂
@uberXtampa bro, I hate how much they offer on long rides. That 8% cancelation rate to stay in Advantage mode trying to keep us on the app. But I got my mine down to 4% and still do my "flipping" on long rides... we gotta do us when we can.
@JohnnyLyft the advantage mode is 🗑 I've been next to many drivers on standard mode and their phones are blowing up on radar I don't see much radar being on advantage.
@uberXtampa it's literally 99% Cubans at the airport waiting lot. They love sitting around in their chairs and hanging out with their pals, not taking trips! 😡 The Que is Full because of all of them! This is little Cuba 🇨🇺 🤣
Most business class riders won't do cash rides from the airport because it's paid by their company But... some regular people will do it. Honestly.. I would have made a counter offer of $100 first with a total tip, and if they said no, then the lowest $80 cash.
I would decline most of those too. Its either taking you away from Downtown. Or you wont be able to pick up the PAX because there isnt anywhere to park.
yes, i’ve been going up to rider canceling and charging the customers double what uber is paying me, cash, venmo, apple pay, tired of these lowball offers
i dont live far from that area myself, and i have been having the same issue. Although, i drive xl only, and they try to send me 20 mins away for a 1 mile ride,. Ive got hundreds of screenshots that i plan on showing to uber via video greenlight hub, in the hopes that something will change..
