Kamanu M'tuamwari is African folk fusion singer from Kenya who sings in his native language; Meru language.
I use music to preserving my dying culture. I pick melodies from the community while other times I creates thought provoking tunes to urge people to embrace the culture.
KamaNu also is a volunteer environmentalist and uses his influence in the region to urge people not only to conserve the environment but also to respect it.

He has participated in various concerts around the country and has been awarde various medals by the national government (recognised as a state hero during the hero's day - Mashujaa day) county government (recognised him for his impact on Meru culture preservation through music) and corporates alike (Safaricom foundation for his conservation efforts growing close to 2 million trees with communities around the country)
