I’m alright at mountain biking and I’m trying to save up for a Nukeproof scout hardtail. I can kind of do a manual on a BMX but I still love manuals. And I’ve subbed.
This would be an awesome place to start! It’s actually really good for beginners because they have a blue option to start but also a red as you get more experienced. Lots of practice sections near the start too for learning some skills. But all the trails have avoidable features so absolutly try it out! 🤘🏻
Sorry for a bit of waffle there’s to simplify. Start practicing on the skills area near the start, then try the blue loop, and eventually progress to red loop
@@invixityediting awesome, welcome to mountain biking! A manual is very similar to a wheelie except you don’t pedal. You just coast and then use your body position to keep the front wheel up
@@JayHurstMtb thanks man means a lot that you would go out of ur way to help[ me understand and i just did my first manual about an hour after reading this comment after a few tutorials lol
@@AlexandreLucas-le6xs learning on a mountain bike is tough because they are bigger and heavy. Just really focus on that pop at the start with an explosive movement. Then try to keep your weight back to keep the front up
Hey bro, really good job with the video. I have the same camera, and im looking to buy a chest mount, what chest mount are you using? Thanks! Btwa Dji is selling their own chest mount, but it looks like the camera will be mounted pretty far down, which I don’t think is the best for mtb povs.
Thanks so much! I use the stuntman chesty, find it really good. I would say however, the DJI one is cool too as it has an option to mount the camera on the back and film someone else behind you
Quiet hub. I like a silent bike. Also the hub might not sound loud to you because it’s behind you but for anyone riding beside or behind you, it’s obnoxious AF. My GF has a super loud hub and I hate riding behind her because of it.
I started a war in the comments section of another video by saying that mastering your front brake is one of the keys to becoming a good mountain biker. The rear is important too but most of your stopping power comes from the front and I'd 100% rather ride a trail with no rear brake vs no front. Also three finger braking is pretty much a necessity for the poor souls out there still running cantilever rim breaks but those are pretty rare to see on the trails these days.
This video is a shamelessly low quality YT Short Muc Off advert. @muc-off you’re better than this. 😂 It’s not even a good example of a clean, it’s actually bad.
To start it will be 27.5 both front and rear as that’s what wheels and forks I’ve got. But a mullet would be awesome so maybe something for the future!
@@JayHurstMtb you shot like a lefty so glove on right hand and right handed play with glove on left hand. Or just have the glove on the hand closest to you.
