I have shopped and donated to Goodwill for years. I was also surprised at the prices UNTIL I started working for Goodwill helping people find jobs. The career preparation tools and resources that Goodwill provides job seekers makes up for the prices. Not only are you supporting an organization that cares about bettering people’s lives while also supporting the community people live in. When you are looking for a job and cannot find one until you have people backing you up, being supportive, and assisting your career journey. I was a job seeker that became a career coach. I support Goodwill by donating more and shopping more. And this is MY experience not hearsay.
Thank-you SO much for sharing this! I know several people who were helped by Goodwill and Salvation Army to secure a job and even move on to seek advanced employment. Good for you! All the best!
I am happy to report that the prices seem to be pretty good here. I know GW's can be hit and miss, and we've all seen some crazy pricing for sure. My advice, keep checking back, and share your thoughts with the store managers. They are usually very receptive to feedback. I have a follow up video coming out soon to share. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts too!
This was a really fun video. Your mom is an absolute riot! There were so many nice items in this neighborhood event, I'm glad you were invited. Hope you're having a great day! 💞💕💞
Thanks, Lisa!! So nice spending time with you at the sale today. You're a sweetheart 💕 My mom certainly is a riot and a half! I plan to do more thrifting with her...she is actually quite knowledgeable if we can stop laughing! 😆
@@1wayvintage I can’t remember which one I liked now, but it might have been his. Don’t worry , someone else probably picked it up because they liked it
I watched this video on the tv, where I can't leave a comment. But I was looking through the subscriptions page on my laptop, and saw that I had forgotten to give it a view that way, so here I am! It was fun looking through this independent thrift store with you. I can't believe how much variety and volume of merchandise this man was able to fit in such a small space (and still have it be shop-able!) Hope your day is happy! 😊💕
You are so sweet to come back and leave a comment! I can't wait to visit this store again! I think it will be on my list of regular spots. I hope the store does well! Be well and see you soon! 💞
I finally found the video for the raffle balls! 🎉 I didn’t have the winning number but I’ve been holding on to the two I had all this time 🥰 Hopefully I will get to talk to yall more next time. Great footage! 😊😊😊
Oh, hi, Picking Peaches!! So nice to hear from you! I am sad to say the winner has not been found! I wish it was you! For sure, we need to talk more at the next BOSS! Thanks for finding us! God bless!
Hi Julie!!! You are in my area. I am literally walking distance from this store. He has or had a great selection of vinyl records I purchased from him. If you continue down Tustin Ave towards Orange you will find several thrift stores & salvation army . ❤❤❤❤
Hi Lena! I've been to those stores, but it's been quite a while! Ill have to make my way down the street! That's great you've found this store already!
Was the lady's car still in the parking lot the next morning? I would've definitely picked up that poinsettia doll and the basket with the Easter eggs on the side. There was a man doing a video yesterday about finding 30 annalee dolls in a thrift store for $2.99 each. He said some fetch good money. If you go to delightfully southern on RU-vid, she just re stored a swing cabinet just like that and it looked great.
Hi Debra! The poinsettia doll was adorable, I agree! I'll have to review footage for the basket with eggs! I wonder where the man found 30 Annalee dolls? I know this store put out a ton also...so glad I scooped up a few! I totally checked out Delightfully Southern and found that video! I got half-way through and can't wait to go back and watch the rest! Thank-you for sharing and watching 💞
Hi, nice to see you today. Wow never heard of this store. So glad you found it. Always fun to run into a fun store. Wow they pack alot of cool treasures in that store. Too many nice things. 😊🌻🦋I went to the Goodwill in Westminster yesterday. The prices were awful and the music was loud and jumpy.
Hello again! Yes, sometimes it's nice to get a break from the big stores, right!? If you are in the Santa Ana / Orange area, you should check it out! Tell them I sent you! 😀
Do you not do Rae Dunn? You passed by a big Treats jar on that first end cap. And a big blue Mason jar caught my eye in one of those aisles. Hope the new MomNPop thrift store does well. It's probably a good location for thrifting traffic. I enjoy your videos.🪔🖼👜🏀🏐🐦⏰👒💍
Hello! I do like Rae Dunn, and I didn't see it at all! I dont always pick it up, however. It really was hard for me in that Goodwill, tbh! I wasn't in the digging mood this time, and this particular GW could use an overhaul for sure!! Thanks for watching and letting me know what I missed! I missed a lot at the first store, too!
Wasn't that tree fabulous!? I'm pretty sure it plugged in and lit up, too, but it weighed a ton! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and time with us! We appreciate you!
Hi Julee! I love the Annalee that you found. I have never seen those on the shelf at Goodwill. But my favorite was the glass horse bookends. 💚 So glad that a set of keys were found! It’s hard to know today peoples intentions.
Hi Vicki! The glass horses are fab! I'll display them until they sell, for sure. The Annalee's were so fun. I actually went back several times and got more Annalee dolls, mostly little pixies. I'll bring them to my Christmas in July sale. They are amazing.
