Probably the last VMAs the whole world remembers apart from the Britney and madonnas one. This year was fire, gaga and Miley making the whole world talk about it.
It’s not in my top 10 Gaga tracks, but the synthline + bass combo in Applause is just a serotonin kick. I genuinely only listen to the instrumental (same as Perfect Illusion -that instrumental is a masterpiece). This was a tough time for Gaga… I look back on ARTPOP era with a lot of adoration now.
I always looked forward to this show every Fright Fest! I had hoped to perform on that stage when I had grown up. I was bummed when I learned that they weren't doing the show anymore. 🥺 Thank you for the memories!

I agree! 2014 was pretty good too but yes this one was for sure was great I remember rewatching multiple times because it was so good! Miley was the highlight of the night!

I agree, it wasn't as good as previous years, the tracks are garbage, I guess I was expecting too much for the 20th anniversary. "This years party, promises to be the best, ever." Biggest lie I have heard.
It's just an intro to their main song😢 I love the cast soo much and the songs they have this year are easy for me to learn songs, its ok if you dont like the songs, I understand a bunch of ppl agree with you, but please dont put hate on the cast they are sooo nice❤❤

i hope Six Flags GADV sees some of these comments. It's hard not to enjoy Dead Man's Party. It's noticeable that there a lot of new dancers this year. But youd think they'd do better than this, especially for a 20th anniversary. The opening song and the one that goes on forever after the guy says "i'm thirsty" are useless. And they barely even do "the beautiful people" the only song that's not a top 40 pop hit besides the signature "Dead Man's Party." Don't get me wrong, I like some of them like "calling all the monsters" "sweet dreams/disturbia" "little party never killed nobody" but it's like all family friendly pop. At least we got like animal I have become, living dead girl, and no one lives forever in the previous two years and "Alive" worked way better as an opening when they changed bring to me life. I hope they mix it up much more next year, bring back bring me to life as the opening and maybe do a new rob zombie song. They can even keep the taylor swift song. But this is definitely a way to make your 20th anniversary kinda sad. Credit to some who are actually both new and really, really good dancers though.
I know fright fest has been over for months but SF did get a new choreographer for the show this year (after having the same person in charge for so many years), so of course the styles will differ a bit from the previous choreographer! I definitely agree that the song choices were a bit more "poppy" than in previous years, but I feel like they were trying to make it more of a true party if that makes sense? Just an opinion!
so true. "My type" is just a huge waste of time in this show, and can they actually do a song that's not a top 20 hit these days, or isn't just pop? I mean I love variation so by all means keep the taylor swift song, was sick of "teeth" anyway but gg and the new routines for existent songs were made super lazy. THis is the opposite of how you play a 20th anniversary off.

Just please stop hatting if you dont like it then dont watch it. Some of the songs are permanent, like "Dead Man's Party" its their main song and "A little Party Never Killed Nobody" is their ending song (I think... Im not some expert) I dont see why "My Type" is just a waste if time, it is not. The whole point of the show is to entertain people not make people mad and get haters that will make them stop the show, PLEASE stop hating! Again if you hate it, STOP trying to get more people to hate it more than they do. If you want to tell someone how much YOU hate it and how much YOU want it to change then talk to Theresa. (Somehow)

Like Blue Chainsaw Guy in Demon District, the ppl with the horns at Demon District, most of the clowns, everyone in The Bloody Fountain, ect. They just have new people who joined they didnt replace people! ok for starters, I can't tell if your a troll or a giant fanboy. My comments are strictly only about the dead man's party show, so this 2nd comment going on about tons of other people is kinda silly. I've had no issue with anything else-i'm glad they got rid of total darkness and replaced it with fear, the clown actors are as great as ever, general scares outside of trails solid, etc. And yes, Dead Man's Party is about the preformances, the show, not "just the songs." Hence why it's hardly "bad." But they did change the routines for several songs, an improvement this year actually with the "sweet dreams/disturbia" mash up, but they aren't even trying to lip synch calling all the monsters or dead man's party. Things are simplified. Nobody is doing flips, and there is no variation. It's just pc, top 20 pop hits, not variated as it once was way better when they had bring to me life and a rob zombie song in with a lady gaga and 80's hit cover. Also, 3 years of "a little party never killed nobody" this year's was the worst, routine was simplified with minimal lip syncing or the preformance acting in itself which was great the prior two years.
Ok this whole post is out of control, but keeping it simple since I responded to the other, this is totally out of control. They wouldn't cancel the show over a year of negative comments. It's grounded and known, getting criticism can hopefully make them do a much better job like pretty much every single year since they started (and yes, I did see it during it's first years). I'm not the only one complaining about dead man's party being kinda boring, lazy, lack of variation in songs, etc. I've literally never done this before. Also aside from that, when your "it's the 20th year" which is literally stated by Dr. Fright, is this, then it is sorta embarassing, even if it wasn't meant to be a giant 20 year celebration.

I do agree last years show was better but it's still an over all great show in my opinion. Just have to get used to the major song changes. Wish they would bring back they're coming to take me away
Does anyone know who the guy is that plays Dr. Fright? This girl I was standing next to at the show said he was in a band and when I went to ask him after the show, he wouldn't really tell me because he was keeping in character. I just really want to know what his band is called because he is a really talented guy and the girl said the bands' music is really good. Any information will be helpful. Thanks!
