To each is his own…some subscription box are now for everyone. I do enjoy the box previews which allows me to pause/unpause the subscription before it ships.
I thought it was just my pouch that was stinky! But I wonder if you skip a month do you still have access to the member shop? With the exception of the October box there are things I would have passed on in the boxes I've gotten so far.
I canceled my subscription after this box. It was a 1/10 for me. I've been a subscriber since 2020 and really love the company but most of the stuff I've received lately ended up going to goodwill.
After viewing many comments, it seems this is a space where some share their complaints about Cloth and Paper. 🤔 Overall, their products strike a balance between simplicity and luxury, which may not resonate with everyone. I appreciate that they include ink pens in every box, as I write and journal frequently. The black bag exudes class and is intentionally designed to remain partially open. I’ve used it as an underarm clutch to hold my grocery list and to-do list when I go shopping. Those who prefer minimalist aesthetics might overlook the exceptional quality this company provides. I've explored various other paper brands, but none have captured my interest quite like Cloth and Paper. Once again, it seems that Cloth & Paper might not be the right fit for you. Hopefully, you find a company that better meets your needs.
@@AlaskanAnnaG No, but your video seemed quite negative, focusing mainly on complaints like many of the commenters. Perhaps you're just not accustomed to their kind of quality aesthetics.
I stopped subscribing to them a long time ago because I was tired of them putting in olive green items in their sub boxes month after month. I don't like olive green that much. Once or twice would have been fine, but it was for at least 3-5 months. That roller with the metal pad looks horrible. A normal notepad would have been okay. Instead it looks like we went backwards in time...😂 Who is using that heavy thing?
hahaha I feel you I wish they would change up the colors more often even tho I personally love olive green lol but ya some differences would be nice lol
I quit Cloth and Paper two years ago, and I still have a massive stockpile of their post-its and stickers. Have you looked at Jane’s Agenda? She has beautiful stuff. I quit her too because I only use bound books now and I couldn’t justify paying for inserts I was never going to use, just to get the goodies that come with them. Also, I’ve embraced that I’m a maximalist, so now I use Cocoa Daisy and Planner Perfect.
The sub boxes are so over rated now. Like who needs all these inserts? What happened to functional. I enjoy just a simple agenda and that’s why I went to CP. now it’s just a hype and waste of money🤷🏻♀️ for the sub boxes. I just order once a year my inserts and skipped my subscription.
New subscriber here 👋🏽 I appreciate your honest review. For the sticky notes, I find that they tend to stick better if you lift & remove from side to side.
Interesting…I’ve never bought from them until recently just a little notebook to try it out. I’m not sure what the hype is about regarding this company as there are many others I love; The Rosey Life Planner, Graceful Muse Paperie and my recent discovery of Sterling Ink Sticker Kits… I’m more of a buy consumables vs buy things… I like to be able to use something up so it’s gone and not collect Knick knacks or chochskis (sp?). Sticky notes Yes, I love mine that come in Themed Boxes by Rosey Life Planner. Thank you for the review 🥰
oh wow Ive never heard of some of those I might have to look into them. I do like when they have stuff like the sticky notes and good notebooks that I can actually use lol
Half of CP stuff is useless in these boxes like how many sticky notes do you need? How many page flags do you need? How much of this stuff do you need? It’s the same crap every month a bag of card a couple pens and some sticky notes. I don’t need all that stuff and it’s cheap. It’s just not good quality then if you go in their group, they’re like oh the stuff is so great and I’m like it seems to me like a bunch of black girls like it, but it’s really a waste of money.
I know I commented on this before, but if you want it to fit in the spiral, you can buy the A5 unpunched box and then punch it yourself. It would fit then. That’s my plan.
A lot of the pens feel cheap and I’ve stumbled across them at a local Japanese stationary store. I liked their highlighters but found them on Amazon as a pack. I think that would be acceptable if they were a smaller company, but they have some skin in the game now so I’d expect better.
I think think their stuff is really cheaply made, one example is the sticky notes that curl. It's ironic because they market their brand as a luxury brand. I also don't like how every single one of their products have C&P' or 'Cloth and Paper' or 'Aesthete' printed on them.
In professional terms, this practice is known as branding. Virtually every brand on the market incorporates their name into all of their products, reinforcing brand recognition and identity.
Jada, I agree. I’ve had no issues with their sticky notes or any of their products. In fact, their offerings are of exceptional quality-carefully curated and well-designed.
Thanks for sharing . This is the first box I skipped and I’ve been a member for maybe three years plus.. going forward I will be more selective about the boxes.
@@AlaskanAnnaGif you’re subscribed for 3,6 or longer you can just email them and they’ll skip your box! If you’re subscribed monthly, there’s an option when you log into your subscription.
To be helpful, you can change your box subscription to A5 unpunched. I just checked the website, and it’s an option. That way you could punch them to fit the spiral.
What a great idea! I don't know if they have it at the DT now because of the age of the video but I definitely will check. I'm A late bloomer . Just got my first micro notes. TY ❤😊
I do this too, but what I do to save on the paper (and because I have a punch too) is I cut the paper into 2 inch strips, punch the strips and then glue the 2 pages back to back to 1 strip. I also like doing it as I often get sticker books, where there are pages that I don't see myself using (like in the budget book, there are $ signs instead of £GBP signs) and since I am in the uk, some things are spelt differently, so I choose to give those pages away/ put them into my destash pile - great video, thanks for sharing!
Oh my you are my new best friend I am doing this right now,but my husband got me some plastic sleeves and i put them in my notebook I got today for 50 cents but my planner i get them all at thrift stores or outdated ones on Facebook cheap love it have fun
I love your collection and a couple of my bags are peeling also I hate it even of the newer bags I have called the studded daydreamer is pealing on the top and on the handles
