Can anyone remember there was slasher type game where you played as a guy with dreadlocks type of hair, dude was fighting aliens with both gun and sword and had acrobatic combat skills
i'm not sure how known that game is, but for me "Metal Arms - Glitch in the System" is one of those forgotten games for me too. i played it a lot with my friends as a kid on the old xbox and recently remembered the name. it was such a nice game tho
Started playing death stranding a few weeks ago. And OMG is it gorgeous. I have a good monitor now and I upgraded my CPU and GPU a few months ago. So now I can max it out, and I was stunned at how beautiful the setting of the game is.
A few games I would like to have remakes for: Prototype Advent Rising Infamous Ultimate Spider-Man Knights of the Old Republic Star Wars: The Force Unleashed I & II Deadpool X-Men: Legends I & II X2: Wolverines Revenge X-Men: Destiny
Alice Madness Returns was an amazing platformer/ hack n slash, and hell, you could actually download the first game as FREE DLC for Madness Returns if you were curious to see where it started. I'll bet EA didn't greenlight it because it didn't leave room for predatory monetization, seeing as EA is obsessively trying to kill single player games since those can't be monetized like multiplayer games can Oh Prototype, definitely one of the best Superhero games ever made IMO, it definitely sits up there with Spider-Man & Batman Arkham, the exploration & combat alone were so much fun Brutal Legend, love that game. I honestly didn't mind the RTS elements, despite going into the game completely blind. Here's hoping Double-Fine gives the game another look after the success of Psychonauts 2
Alan Wake 2 is even more 'walking sim' than Death Stranding itself. The narrative is strong and unique, the graphic is phemonenal, and....that's all about it. Compared to what other contender offered in terms of gameplay at that time, AW2 is not even close being a GOTY
Im sorry, but if you really think GoW Ragnarok shouldve won over Elden Ring then youre just delulu, same with Alan Wake 2 and Bloodborne... True, those games are amazing, but they werent better than the games which had won GOTY in their place
Death Stranding was not GOTY material at all. I love the game, it's slow pacing, the walks, the feel of being alone. But the story, characters and writing was complete trash really. Perhaps Kojima should focus on directing these wonderful games but hire talented writers for characters, story, dialogue
I love Baldurs Gate 3. Such a fun game to play. HOWEVER Tears of the Kingdom should have won GOTY. It was so innovative with ultra-hand and being able to build hundreds of different items to explore the world. This innovation is rare in video games.
