Just subscribed. Don't know why I haven't already. 🙄 Anywho, I heard you are injured in the Vermont tournament? Not throwing forehand's? So watching the coverage and seeing you flirting with top ten with only backhand's is astounding! Applause & hats off to you young man. 👊 You have a bright future in disc golf. 👍
Great video. Really cool to see your family's reaction. Also was great meeting you at the Titan Open and spotting for you on Saturday hole 17 at Wildcat. Kind of wish I would have signed up for Shaver on Sunday to spot for you again lol. Great shooting out there
Anything is possible when family is first. Nice shooting. I have a soft pixel. It slightly more understable. But the feel is unique and better in my opinion. especially with more humidity and when you sweat more. i feel that the soft plastic feels great. idk. try it, if you want.
Great to hear from you Paul, thanks. If you get a chance to play the CCR open in Mi. the Renegades Trail course has 2 nice sunken baskets and I think your right, it brings a different skill to the game.
Nice video and content, I'm sure its a big adjustment being out on the road. I'm sure all pro's go through the struggle with adjusting to it, and esp. figuring out how to be consistent when everything else is different at each stop. One thought, if you want to make more content but are struggling to come up with ideas. Its just generally enjoyable to watch people with smooth form (like yours) throw (its what we're all chasing). Tackling local courses while traveling and recording yourself throw would already be a decent video; for viewers that also throw MVP its a nice plus to see what discs you are throwing. Don't always need a catch. Good luck at the next tournament!
We have a basket that when it was originally planted there was a massive boulder under ground that bent the pole. The basket was donated to another course and when they planted it, it was about a foot lower than the rest. Oddly enough most people miss their putts low on it.
Guys I gotta tell you, Paul is one of the most genuinely great people you will meet. He deserves all the best, and all of our support. Paul I believe in you man, you can do anything. You do you, and let things come at whatever pace works best. No pressure.
Always rooting for you Paul. And this style of video is very fun to watch. Not all videos have to be an elaborate production. I just enjoy watching someone with your talent throw. And your insight on the course is amazing. Keep up the grind and we will keep supporting every way we can.
I loved your form talk with Robbie C! Your form is immaculate, and you get every once of distance you can with your stature, and I see it keep improving. Keep up the content and great work.
One our locals has a private course around his house. He hosts Sunday Dubs there. There's a sunken basket on a 30 ft artificial Island green. It's also blind and half of the cage is buried. It's fun, different, difficult to land w/o OB....and yes when wind is kicking adds some difficulty. Sometimes better to try a skip shot. ❤ That hole!
A sunken basket on the pro tour could be very interesting. The right hole design could incentivize some sick roller aces. Way to perservere thru the van probs and keep the season rolling!!
Thanks for this content, Paul. Appreciate your talking points and sincerity. I've lived in WI for a couple decades now but I grew up in the next town over from this course. I play it often, as I make my way back to visit family several times a year. I can tell the locals are making good work of this course with upkeep and improvements. Keeps getting better. Last time I played I donated a Fission Insanity into that pond on #9. Meant to hyzer flip flat but instead turned over into some headwind. Wishing you well for the Preserve.
Matrix is a highly underrated MVP mid. It was in my starter pack and have bagged a version of one ever since. I love regular old neutron plastic. They beat into a spot and then stick there forever.
Good video and good to see you back at it. Glad you’re taking time for yourself. I can’t imagine tour life is ever easy. Loving the Tempo and Matrix shout out’s! The Matrix is kinda slept on these days
Great video, Paul ☺. I love the insight into living off disc golf. It's not always cake and flowers, but I'm sure you'll bounce back and show what you are capable of!
Hey Paul just met you at hole 1 at Sioux Center. Thanks for letting me embarrass myself for asking if you’ve ever played with any pros. :) have an excellent day
You do have an amazing support group in your disc golf journey. Your Parents, your girlfriend, 978, MVP and us, the family of disc golf. I'll be rooting for ya!
