Mark John McEncroe is an Australian contemporary composer. A retired chef, he has had a life long love of and interest in music, as well as keeping a koi pond and Bonsai in his Japanese Courtyard garden.

Born in Sydney Australia, McEncroe commenced music studies in his adulthood. However, he had a varied interest in many kinds of music that led him to working in the music/record business in his early 20s and 30s. For much of that time he was a Label Manager, first with EMI Australia and then with EMI Sweden. During this period he had lessons in piano, trumpet, flute and later the clarinet.

Now a full time composer, Mark is happy to do what he loves every day. His easy listening compositions for solo piano and full orchestra take inspiration from all genres of musical endeavours. They are available on CD, MP3 download, and as sheet music scores.
