It feels like a teaser of an upcoming film. If I would call anything amateour here, that would be special effect regarding spells. Anything outside that, feels like an actual today made production.
Getting brutally tortured for hours by not 1 or 2 but 4 people and you can't do anything but only suffer .. not knowing when or how it will end... This is what Alice and Frank gone through
i loved the music at the end - i am a nurse in a brain injury unit and in modern terms what the longbottoms are sufferng from is a sort of persistent vegetative state: they can stil maintain their breathing as the brain stem is still intact; beings with pvs can blink and open and close their eyes; they can squeeze and withdraw their hands but have no real conscious awareness of their own surroundings. this is perhaps the cruelest way to be: i have seen relatives hope their loved ones will wake up and visit them everyday but in truth we dont know enough about pvs and how much awareness the person actually has: as nurses we still talk to them and tell them what we are doing in terms of care: we still show them the greatest respect and love: in fiction terms the potters despite their death did not have to succumb to this type of brain damage, and tbh i dont think i would either: please let me go... ive already told my husband this
@@samantharossiter8808 You have my upmost respect for the work you do! Yes, it's like Sirius said in the movies... "They suffered a fate worse than death". This fan made movie really puts it into perspective what Neville and his family have been through. It was done so well, the way they transitioned right up to his first day at Hogwarts. And the acting! Especially from the Bellatrix actress. The way she acted out casting the cruciatus curse at 3:07 was so chilling. I also loved the music too. Especially the part where Dumbledore shows up at 13:17, gave me goosebumps
Thank you so much for making and sharing this beautiful fan film. Really nailed the essence of Longbottom canon, and the overall production value was fantastic in every aspect. Ending was heartbreakingly perfect 😢
The only thing I didn't like about the movie is when they actually casted the unforgivable curse crucio they didn't even say it??? I wanted to hear the actors say the spell as one needs to want to inflict such pain and torture to them that simply uttering the words isn't good enough. Also I never read anywhere that wizards and witches could perform the unforgivable curses silently. In every movie they alway say them before then incarnation happens. Other than that bravo. Would have liked to know who was who between the men tho!!!
I've seen this film so many times I can't even remember how many I am so impressed with every single detail of this film the acting the effects the facial expressions the camera every single piece of cinematic string that brought this to life incredible JK Rowling would be so impressed. Even the choice of cast incredible Bravo if this was an OWL'S EXAM THIS FILM WOULD GET OUTSTANDING MARKS AND EVERYTHING WELL DONE WELL DONE WELL DONE 10,000 POINTS TO THIS FILM
frank and alicia fought hard but bellatrix was too evil. I hope that when she died the effects of her cruciatus curses would lift up or that her wnd could be used by molly to undo her spells somehow or even harry with the supreme wand would be able to cure all the people at saint mungo hospital
This had me in tears- oh my gosh this was so traumatising! Great lord you all did an amazing job portraying the characters. Proves how vicious the death eaters were and how heroic they all were who sacrificed their life. Poor Nev
