Beautiful restoration job you did on the wood roller and planer. It looks much better and it works like a charm, although you have to push wood with a board to get it through the rollers. Excellent work nevertheless.
Steel blades sitting in a field in water in dirt doesn't rust, there? Just asking,,,Im only familiar with what happens on this side of the planet. ..No water damage what so ever,,None,,, That's Amazing. Ok,,on with the video.
This isn't restoring a machine, this is half-ass cleaning because he reassembled it with rust still on it. And the watermark is so annoying video isn't worth watching.
Picks it fairly clean 57s, 66s Arrives dirty 92s, 106s Not cordless 113s How did this huge plastic got here? 210s Not brushless (really good brushes) 242s No need to cut these 334s Very little wear 540s, 978s Unable to weld, just glue them 1136s That's it. Nothing needed replacement. Not gears, bearings, the switch or even the brushes!! It was in perfect working order. So fake ...
Build a throat plate and get a miter gauge and fence before someone looses fingers or their life using this saw with an open throat and trying to push wood through absolutely straight. You are simply asking for an accident with no throat plate and no secure pushing device for cross cutting. Sorry, I just don't want to see someone risk a terrible accident!!
For goodness sake, wear safety glasses when using a wire wheel, if you ever have to have steel fragments removed from your eyes, you will regret no wearing glasses, I can assure you!! You don't show it, but surely on these old rusty machines you replace the bearings.
Based on seeing the rusty water pouring out of the motor when it was removed, wouldn't it have been prudent to at least have pulled the stator for a quick inspection?
Nice job, but I would be looking for a blade guard to protect the user. Nice machine and nicely done. As others comment, the colors are not my choice, but it looks great anyway.
Marvelous restoration job you did on the woodworking planing machine. It looks much better and it works like a charm, after all the hard work you put into restoring and cleaning it up. Excellent work.
