I loosened the lock nut under the cap no problem but the cap wont unscrew....the rod just spins like maybe they locktited at the factory HOW do I hold the rod? vise grips?? I dont want to tear anything up....help someone??
Great video , just wondering when you measure the oil level are you measuring from the top of the fork tube to the top of the oil level inside tube which is the air space at 114mm , and does it matter what position the centre rod is when checking the level . do i take out all dampening adjustments to minimum counter clockwise until it's all back together and on the bike , the manual isn't very clear so thanks again for the step by step video 👍🏼😎
I know it's much too late, as I was having the same dilemma as you ( clutch cable was too long and could not adjust from lever), but for the other FZ8-ers, there is an adjustment screw under the left side of the tank ( on the left side of the motorcycle, near the frame, you have to take the gas tank off ).
I couldn't figure out where the throttle cable goes. Well, it goes on the dang tank that was rusty that I tossed out. I'll have to use a choke handle ot something.
Hi kurze Frage, wie bekommt man den mechanischen dichtring raus, bei mir ist nur der Defekt. Braucht man da einen speziellen innenabzieher oder geht das auch mit herkömmlichen Werkzeug.
