You’re having too much fun buddy! I love the enthusiasm and share it as well. You sound like how I feel every time I take my 22 Springfield out. I chose it over a roadmaster because I just couldn’t get past the color and the classic look. I’ve put thousands of miles from the mountains to the coast on it and still can’t get over the ride and look. It’s a true love affair. You should get one as well. Very nice review, ride safe out there.
I have this bike as a 2022 in smoke white. Absolutely love this bike, but will say I have three complaints. The electric throttle is not smooth enough. There is literally no storage. I had to add a small bag for insurance card and registration. Fueling up takes a bit as the throat to the tank doesn't allow for full volume from the pump. Otherwise, this bike is marvelous. Quick, agile, and great ergonomics. Every time I throw a leg over it, it brings a smile to my face. Ride safe folks!
Great video. Thanks Do I miss the lack of adaptive cruise control and the blind spot monitoring? Or the retro illuminated buttons? If they were an option, of course I would prefer to have it. But is the lack of those features a deal breaker? No, they weren’t. I m saying this because I traded my 1250 RT for this GT and I didn’t regret the decision, not for a second. I felt that the RT was a great bike, I think inclusively, in the wind protection feature, but the K 1600 GT also offers great wind protection , lesser than the RT but clearly enough. So that’s not an issue either. The big and undeniable difference in favor to the K1600 is the engine. The power, the torque , the smoothness of its power delivery is stunning. I probably could return to have an RT if I felt the lack of physical strength or if I just wanted a bike easier to handle by any reason and not so pointy. We can ride the RT fast, but not fast as the K1600. The RT likes to be on that rev range between 3000 and 5000 revs. And the K1600 is glad in every range of power you want and for me and in my opinion that’s a very relevant difference.
Great video as always. Considered balancing out your helmet cam mic sound with your voice? Don't hear the bike at all, and some are worth listening to. 😎
I love the Indian brand and a lot of the motorcycles they put out but the classic Springfield is my favorite. I love the look of that bike and the one I want to add to my garage. Nice review.
Love the Monsters! I’ve got the Monster 659 and will eventually upgrade to the 1200R when I’m off my restricted license. These Monsters are art on wheels. Period!
I have been riding for over 45 years and hade all kinds of motorcycles. Now I ride a 2016 ultra limited one of my favorite motorcycle. All it needs is a large windshield a drivers backrest and highway pegs.
If you ride the springfield naked. Without bags and windshield. It will almost ride like a city sleaker. The engineering on this bike is faaar superior than any other bike in this segment. The way it holds the road is simply great. Naked springfield you can lean on it. Such a great bike. Unfortunately I dont have the money to buy but if you guys have just buy it eyes closed. It will also help the company to continue making such great bikes.
Man... the Pursuit has been on my lost of bikes to ride and possibly own. Thanks for your insights - im going to head over to my local Indian delaership - im looking for a big touring bike
