Thailand speak very quickly

Isn't it Chan for femaile, Phom for male? All of your sentences start with Chan shouldn't you put Chan /Phom?

For the example sentence of เตี้ย, could it just mean that "he is shorter than his dad" if you say he is much shorter than his dad shouldn't the sentence be: เขาเตี้ยกว่าพ่อของเขามาก. Or could it mean both?
