its best to time stmap where you stuck and take it step by step...also follow the tutorial exactly ...before trying to apply it to your own project... if you time stmap where you cna no longer follow i am happy to help

Thanks for the video. Would this be a way I can add these balls to an object and then mesh and animate them. I am trying to create thick molten metal hanging to honeycomb and the slight shimmering of the metal.

`ctrl c` to copy and `ctrl v` to paste or ` ctrl L` lowercase L is what I used to select and link material

Baking indirect lighting in Blender Eevee is a key step in making environments appear more realistic and believable or stylized. It involves pre-calculating and storing light and shadow information on objects as textures, which can improve performance and save rendering time. its like an extra paint brush that is technically more complete than real time rendering

For characters or objects that move, you typically use a combination of baked lighting for the environment and real-time lighting for dynamic elements like characters. While baked lighting is static once baked (meaning changes in lighting won't update automatically without rebaking), dynamic lighting sources can still be used alongside baked lighting. This allows for moving lights or light changes that affect dynamic elements without affecting the baked environment lighting.

I want to know how to duplicate material not to copy it to another object. I need to have a duplicate material in the same object in such that each material will have some of the attributes different . It is to be used in an object in such way that each of the tow material will be only applied 1 to each of the two vertex groups.

ctrl c and ctrl v after selecting the nodes you copy... if you copy the material you can press the instance to be unique and you also get what you want

help, i have done this before and its work then i continue and can't remember when but the background turn to default image again, the world setting is still there with the image i choose before. I try to upload again few times but no change, the background still there. i really lost and dont know which part i making a mistake.

FYI. You don't need to create a marker first. Hitting ctrl+B will create it automatically.

just select it in the object properties area and press delete or select the eye ball to hide it

when you press g on the face to move it on the blue line if you hold ctrl it will snap to the lines perfectly
