Thank you for this video. This is going to sound random, but in your Twitter profile, you describe yourself as a painter and sculptor as well. You've posted some of your paintings on Twitter, but I don't think I've seen your sculpture. Is it figurative/realistic?
oooooh the Liebestod!!!! you capture the emotion of this so well and play all those key changes brilliantly!! is this your own transcription?? There is something other worldly about Wagner's music in Tristan ..... I was obsessed with the Jessye Norman recording in my teens and I find those beautiful chromatic passages so addictive!!! ru-vid.com9cZI14h6PXE?feature=share
@@adampaullevine9848 I love other passages of Wagner such as the Forest Murmurs and Magic Fire Music from the Ring Cycle, the Prelude to Lohengrin, Flying Dutchman Overture etc ....I imagine all of them would be wonderful on the piano! Also this puts me in the mood to have a look at the duet in Tristan from Act 2 - I imagine that would travel across quite nicely on to the piano! Yes - Jessye Norman one of my favourite opera singers ever, a real vocal powerhouse with that wonderful powerful lush sound!! 🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🙂🙂🙂
@@angelaknebel4156 When I know no one is listening or watching I OCCASIONALLY take out the music for the Fliegender Hollander Vorspiel and pretend my first name is James…
I love Pagliacci - my first ever operatic experience was hearing Gigli on the radio sing Vesti La Giubba - and my favourite ever live operatic experience was seeing Domingo/Gheorghiu/Hrovostovsky in London in Pagliacci in the early 2000s!!!! Unforgettable!! and it's so beautiful to hear you play this!! You play with real feeling!! Do you play any other operatic excerpts?? on my channel I've attempted lots of opera if you'd like to listen 🙂🙂🙂🤗 ru-vid.com/group/PLby7m4inCLFy9kfVki5ZHFWPU8Q9q8B8k
Adam Paul Joplin But also, screw this song - this song is the reason I had to take torture piano lessons with Mrs. Coffeebreath Corley - my dad always wanted me to play it, he would be proud of you
