This is rad! Just got Varigate 4+ and am taking in all the demos. Curious about what that little module between it and the drums is--the one controlling the corrupt level of Data Bender. So good!
Thank you for watching! That is called LS1 lightstrip from Soundmachines. It is very unique and useful. It can REC the movement of your finger on the slider.
What a powerhouse that 4+ is... Malekko in general! I just got their QuadLFO in the rack, still getting the hang of it but the workflow & power is apparent - definitely leaves me lusting after one of the Varigates, though haha. Anyway, this is one of the clearest simple demos of the VG4+ I've seen so far, and I was entranced the whole time. Such an intuitive system for sequencing _anything_ & everything, with no specific jump-off point in mind!
I just started with software modular and hope to step into hardware in 2024, so we might as well learn together. Subscribed after this lovely sounding arp.
Thank you for sub! Wish you enjoyed your new synth life. I also started from software modular. I am just a learner but I will share my sound on this channel. Please keep on watching here and feel free to comment what you feel!
Nice! Saw another performance of this piece where it was a guy sitting in front of his eurorack and there was no audio track on the video. That misses the point of the composition. It's about the ambient sounds of the environment in which it's performed. Love it!
