Only con is not very good low light performance. But if someone know it in advance, what's complaining about..... With realistic expectation it is amazing camera - rock solid stabilizer, 24-600mm, infrared, big battery. Only thing that you need to charge in camera with specific charger, if they make it usb-c charging it would be awesome. But overall very happy with camera.
If you click MENU, then enter CAMERA settings and then enter SW MODE, you should see a bunch of additional settings. Scroll down using the wheel on the left of the camera to i.ZOOM and turn this setting ON.
cant see the point in recording a black video camera in front of a black shirt with a black background cant see fuck all of the camera ,,way way way too dark cant see what the hell your looking at ...lighting is shit realy shit ...im not being hostile im just being honest hope your other videos you will viewed easier ...apart from that nice unboxing thanks ..all the best
Unfortunately, I don't think you can wirelessly transfer footage to a PC on this specific camera but some Bluetooth enabled DSLRs can connect to computers so that you can view/transfer files.
After owning it for a year and half. NO!! It is not. Better models out there. I have shot with 3 other Canon models over the past 7 months. They were in my opinion better than the 90D. (R5/R6/7D Mark II). I do not shoot video. I am actually talking about the photography side of things. I would gladly dump the 90D for a R7/R5/R6 Mark II/5D Mark IV at this point.
And i think you might be onto something there - when I was doing my research on the 90D, I was primarily focused on the videography side. For photography it is still great but there are other cameras that do it better. But thats not to say the 90D produces rubbish photos. Just used the camera for a wedding and the content was great!
These are electronic items and the canon 90 d is the latest model camera of this company, so it's sales are running good. If you don't believe just wait and watch until canon launches a better camera models than this then it's sales will raise or fall watch
There is a reason why Canon’s new line of cameras aren’t selling as well as their 70, 80, and 90D cameras. So the 90D came out a few years ago and they are still selling strong. It’s because they made it right based on improvements not found on earlier models. 4K video was a big deal however, most people can shoot 1080 (offered on the 70D) to play on any computer or RU-vid that looks fantastic. The cool part is that there are a ton of lenses out there that costs next to nothing these days. I would suggest anyone new to photography to go with the 70D (or 80D) and learn the ropes. Buy a used one for a few hundred dollars and practice. When you figure it out, than trade up to the 90D. Shooting with any of these cameras will be a big hit. Also, you will find yourself hanging on to it for the next 15, 20 years.
I agree with you completely! The 90D still stands strong even today and in terms of the war between 4k and 1080 - FHD shot on a DSLR could end up looking better than flat 4K shot on an iPhone.
Bought the X2000 for run and gun media. I run it with a Rode Shotgun Mic. My content quality has transformed overnight. The ergonomics of what I need are all here. I run it hard and it is a workhorse. A slight annoyance is how the buttons are not backlit BUT as I get familiar with it I learn where the buttons are. I love it. Customizing the function buttons are a huge help. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.
I really like the appeal of this camera but I am hesitant. I would like to have the simplicity of a camcorder again because I do miss that, but I'm scared it's gonna end up on a shelf lol.
Well if you do a lot of long recording sessions than there is no doubt a camcorder will beat a DSLR but it really depends on what camera you have at the moment.
Thats right - great camera but the recording limit is a bit lacking which is why I have recently purchased a 4k Camcorder for events filming - Review coming soon!!
Top Video. Published on my Birthday :) Its Sept 2022 and recently ordered & waiting for my 90D to arrive. Upgrading from a 200D which I have learnt heaps on in the last few years. Looking forward to learning more. Just Subscribed, you deserve more subs than you have for your efforts. And you put a lot of effort into this.. I also have a small & growing channel. Cheers Nikhil in West Australia
The DJI Ronin Series Gimbals are awesome - a little pricey but you should be able to pick up a nice second hand one - so many features and solid engineering!
Is it necessary for me to upgrade from 80D to 90D? I'm not into mirrorless cameras. If not, any usm lens recommendation for 80D? Or I'll just buy Pixel 6 😄
If you're main focus is on videography than I highly recommend the upgrade - you will have 4K and 120fpsFHD at your fingertips - even if your are looking to take better pictures, the 90D outshines the 80D in numerous catergories.
