CapCut PC is fantastic for video editing! I find it incredibly useful for creating and editing videos with ease. The interface is user-friendly, and the features are powerful enough to handle all my editing needs. It's definitely a great tool for anyone looking to produce high-quality videos.
I lovedddddd this video and ur kitty and the hp mini size !!! I've been thinking about making it my edc...... ahhh thank yu for shout out too and using my freebie !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am currently in the mini HP size so I enjoyed this video. Thanks for saying half letter to 82 % because I have been printing the personal wide size on my printables.
My boys are the same way. What I did is make them involved in the decisions. Ask him what toys can we get rid of? What dont you like? If youre overwhelmed with all the toys he probably is too. The "calm down" toys keep though, thats different.
Thank you so much!! I try to make it look at least a little better instead of just being super functional lol. I don't feel like I do a very good job, so thank you for making me feel better about it :D
His name is Mister Kitty. He is my planning assistant. he works for wet food and treats and when his paycheck doesn't arrive on time he gets VERY upset, as anyone would LOL. He is our old cranky man and he does what he wants, when he wants, even if I'm filming LOL. He also knows if he does it enough times I will give in and let him do what he wants and he uses that knowledge to his advantage in many different situations LOL. He is a rescue so we don't know exactly how old he is but we have had him for 10 years and he was probably 3 when we got him. He can be very sweet when he isn't calling me on my BS or rolling his eyes at me LOL. Also he hates when people write with pens, my printer, laminator and especially my cutting machine, so like literally everything to do with planning. Worst assistant ever but he's cute so I keep him around.
ZakkaDigital Emoti stickers: instagram.com/zakkadigital/ www.etsy.com/listing/940319909/cute-emoti-printable-planner-stickers?ref=hp_active-mission-recs-rv-1-1 I think southern belle plans sells these printed but I am not sure. The icon stickers are @pmdprintandplan on etsy or I made them myself. www.etsy.com/shop/PMDPrintAndPlan?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1392218551&from_page=listing the other stickers are from closed shops that I still have the files from so they are no longer available to purchase.
I used to switch to pocket in the summer when I had less going on but then as soon as the school year starts I would be right back into personal size/fcc. I am trying to avoid that this year and saving myself all the time and energy transferring all that information for only a few months. I have never stayed in pocket size very long and I am trying to beat my brain at its own game LOL. I knew this was going to be the hardest time for me and I am trying to remember that this is a tool for me to make my life easier and transferring all the information I need to have, is not. I really hate transferring and rewriting all that information but a new fresh setup is so nice. Maybe I just need to completely redo my whole setup in this Filofax and start fresh with a new way to do things.
I am slowly getting used to this idea. I guess my brain thinks a full page = I was productive when im in dailies. But it is just stress and unfulfilled tasks lol.
great idea. I just have used the bleed/margin lines and then print it out with those lines. I have always made a page to the size of the printable. Yet this way I see how you are able to work on one that will be a double-sided page. thanks for sharing this. . Yes I love Photo frames that canva have.
I love the cut lines when I make a single page its so easy to click that box and know its sized correctly but it does waste a ton of paper if you are printing a bunch. Its a nice skill to know if you need it :D
Thank you, that was perfect (and quick!). Now that I better understand how you do the sticky notes, I think I’ll give it a try. And the two-up explanation helped immensely. Thanks for doing what you do!
no problem! thank you for watching. It is an extremely useful skill to have when you need something and cant find it to purchase. and cost effective too :D
I can’t keep recurring tasks for the days on a tracker personally because I won’t see it when I’m in my main part of my planner and I’ll fail to flip to it and I’ll forget to do something 😂 but I do think a tracker for the week on a sticky note or a small insert that firs on like two rings so be in my week but not on my page is very helpful because then it’s with me on my spread I spend most of my time. I rely a lot of dailies but then I’m always having to write stuff down I think of, and stuff for YT and home and kid etc. and I also write micro journaling on it. So it’s not just a to do list. Maybe you need 2 days per page instead and a mini tracker (or use your tracker page if that works for you to flip back and forth all the time) And remember the whole page doesn’t have to be filled. It’s ok to have empty space. Leave it blank or add a sticker or add a memory or a quote. Lots of options.
This is the hardest thing for me in my planner. It is why I loved bullet journaling so much because I could fill a page to the max. Sadly bound books are not a good fit for me. This is something that I am trying to get past and hopefully I will be able to :)
Thanks for posting this. I think I’m now ready to try making some custom inserts for myself. Do you have a video which shows how to set up the age to print two-up designs, e.g. two pages per sheet or paper? Also, I’d like to see the method for doing sticky notes, though I have nightmares about them getting stuck in my printer.
I made a video last night with double sided inserts and sticky notes :D ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8yjeDVrzzEM.html hope this helps
It is a really nice addition, except i am finding random stickers have wondered away from their home every once in awhile. They still stick so its not that big of a deal to me but concerning. It could also be the transparent sticker paper I use for them since I print my own ( I absolutely hate it and I am just trying to use it up). Thank you for your encouragement It is greatly appreciated and needed :D
Hi! Here's my opinion, and hopefully, it makes sense, lol. I believe you are overwhelmed because you have too many working parts to your current system. If you have trackers that you use for each week mapping out those recurring tasks such as (dishes, taking out trash, etc), then you don't need a daily page. The purpose of those trackers is to eliminate writing the task repeatedly. Since you have a weekly overview, you could actually make use of the space by dividing the weekly boxes into 2. (Right side appointments, big reminders, etc) (left side Task based) I actually have a video that shows how I use it in my system because I used to use a daily...but doing this helped eliminate some stress of navigating through all those parts in my planner. If you must do a daily, I say keep in simple shrink it from a full page to a Dutch door or 2 days on 1 page this will feel less overwhelming and you can still do some of these things without needing to fill an entire space. Remember that your planner is a tool, so if you are working for it, it's not working. It should not cause you stress. Also, maybe try adding a field notes size book to commonplace and capture memories, 🤔 I make videos too and love to bounce ideas. I hope you find what works. Thank you for being transparent and sharing ❤️
I think your right, I have way to much going on in my planner. I think this quarter will be me going back to basics and building back systems that actually work for me. The weekly I made for July has everything I need except tracking my mood which I am trying to figure out this weekend. I tried to tip in the A6 notepaper for dailies but I found that I was not fully utilizing the weekly because of it so I took those out. I also decided to move my journaling to a separate journal. I found that I didn't share things because I was afraid of people seeing it, so I decided that I would have a private journal. There are a few other things I used those dailies for that I need to work out where they go but, it is all a process. On another note, I was looking at ordering sticky notes through vista print as well. I would love to talk to you about how that worked out for you. I made my own designs but I was nervous about the safety area around the edges. I didn't know if I should fill in the full space or work within that guarded area. I know they are not the most cost effective but I am growing very tired of printing my own and it is almost worth the cost at this point lol. Can I just say I love your planner and your videos. I found your channel a few weeks ago and have been re-watching them multiple times. Thank you so much for making your videos and sharing your ideas with all of us. And thank you for trying to help me through this rough patch. I greatly appreciate your input and am excited to utilize your ideas :) Also, I am absolutely in love with your handwriting. I wish my chicken scratch looked anywhere near as beautiful as your gorgeous cursive.
@watchbeccaplan Thank you for the compliments! 😊 As far as Vista Print goes, I'd stay in the margins when printing because if you don't it could print funky, but they always show a preview of what it will look like before you submit. Honestly, it was worth the money because with the weekly trackers, I was able to get 50 sheets on that one order, and it has helped so much. I think I spent 25.00 for 3 different functional sticky notes, but overall, it was better than me doing it myself because sometimes they wouldn't print right or I cut it wrong so just doing this via Vista Print was a life saver. Also, thank you for sharing your planner and making video's! It's a breath of fresh air to NOT see the full deco planner videos or the name everything in my planner video for a change. I appreciate the authenticity in your content.
I made a tracker mon - fri excel sheet for all my things I do daily like dishes, laundry, catbox and meds me and my cat take then print it out every week and then I just use a simple lined page for my daily and I’m very careful what I put on that daily and try not to overload it. I shoot for 10 tasks tops and put a couple fun things on there and maybe my dinner if I’m cooking but that is it. I make my sheet letter size in excel in landscape and then reduce it down when I print it out around 76 to 80 percent and it makes a great daily tracker. I pull my daily and that tracker out of my planner and lay them side by side on my counter with a pen and then go to town :)
oh I love that idea. I used excel to make all my half letter inserts and it was amazing. It is a great program if you love boxes. Canva just doesn't do it the same lol.
I think your right. Maybe just while we don't have so much going on I will stick to monthlies and weeklies. Then in quarter four when things pick up again I can re-visit the idea and bring them back if need be. Last year at this time I moved to a pocket since I didn't have so much going on but I hated archiving those and FCC size inserts which created my need to stay in one size this year. Thank you for the suggestions, sometimes its really nice to talk things out with people who understand. I greatly appreciate your comments :D
I just got my first set of oli clips and I LOVE them so much! the large one I stick on the front of my cover and it goes through such thick stuff its amazing!
I usually do switch to another size when this happens but then archiving my inserts for the year is a pain in the butt lol. So this year I am trying to stay in one size and make it work. Which is much easier said then done. I have been trying to just make inserts to change what my brain isn't liking instead of switching sizes to something else. It has gone pretty good so far this year. I usually wait until the end of the month or the end of a quarter to change so I don't have to archive multiple inserts with the same information. Maybe my brain has been craving change and I just wont entertain the idea until the end of the quarter and then I go nuts LOL
I have been enjoying highlighting my completed books in my TBR. It gives me a hit of dopamine when I do it lol. Maybe I should look at completing tasks in the same way. Thank you for suggesting that!
I am OBSESSED with your dark rings! You are inspiring me to DIY! Your weeklies are so lovely filled out! I love it alllll! PS I LOVE your daily version and would 10000000% be happy to see you share them!! It would never ever bother me whatsoever but I totally respect and appreciate your thoughtfulness 🫶 sending you so much love
Thank you so much! I cannot tell you how much it means to me that you have been so supportive about my dailies. You are an amazing person and so sweet. But, I would much rather send people to your shop. You have amazing work and I will shout your praises from the rooftops. I love your video's and system and you inspire me so much too :) Thank you for being such an amazing human being :D
They should be in the individual size folders after you click on the printable inserts folder. I am sorry it is getting hard to organize the amount of freebies I have. I am working on a blog/website for ease of use but its taking a while. Can you tell me what folder you were looking in?
Haha I have planner and phone alerts when I've done laundry. Both the washer and drier sound alerts but if I don't hear it or am busy when it's done I WILL forget it - without a doubt 😂
I do it so often so now I need something to remind me. I hate notifications on my phone so I just close it out and don't realize that I have done it LOL so the planner one NEEDED to happen LOL
