@@Fjaertyeah I feel like people thinking biking is the best, safest mode of transport but it’s really not. You have to put in more effort, you go slower, limited to about 50 miles per day, and become more vulnerable doing so. All these cycling advocates are kinda annoying wanting protected bike lanes on every major road in America like some streets are gonna be dedicated for cars, if you don’t like it live in a major city like Chicago or NYC
Because nobody was in the crossing area. It’s a green light and therefore cars are allowed to turn either direction or go straight. If the guy actually crossed the street then it would be illegal but he didn’t move until after the countdown started
Jul 14, 2024 Recently on Portola Pkwy, Irvine has replaced the Polara N2 Navigators with these iNS Hands Off. I was not happy to see this because: A few months ago, when I pressed the Polara N2 Navigators, the audio was working just fine - no problems. When new traffic lights were installed, I couldn't film the older button because of the hot weather to go bike-riding, but unfortunately, it's gone now. Waste of money in my opinion. They should of just put it on a newer small pole.
I hate to break it to you, but recently, at an intersection of Montezuma Rd and Collwood Blvd in San Diego, the dialight countdown pedestrian signal, you see in this video, has not even lasted 1 year and the hand already broke. This is why I don't like it when a city replaces something that worked okay with something that cannot even last a year.
