warp spyders are great but have 'anti-synergy' with Anvir because you want to get your hand size down to 5cards max before you trigger reclaim the stars. Therefore spyder bouncing back to your hand isnt good!
This video has helped me out alot. Gene stealers are my second favorite Warhamer faction (behind Custodes), so i knew I wanted to make a gene stealer deck the moment I saw the where in the game.
Telion being able to trigger Codex like, 4 times with Tigurius seems fun, pop him down, do the turn as you would, tactical insight with the 1 he gives, Varro hero power, into smite then
i know its just a super condensed, small lore segment for the video, but out of curiosity, how much of a warhammer fan are you? What im asking is, do you play the game firstly because its a good card game, or because you like warhammer? Or a 50/50 mix? 60/40? Im just quite curious, i couldnt guess from your videos/streams anyway.
i collected and played the hobby for 20 years, worked for Games Workshop for around 8 years, read all the early horus heresy novels and ran a 40kpodcast. Definitely a warhammer fan. I also love CCgs which have become my game of choice so this is a perfect marriage for me!
Im a bit disappointed in this video... you didnt seem enthusiastic about this faction. However it being my favorite of all then GSC i found out are related to them. I love the tyrinids.
The sudden realization of how us commoners use the rare wild card nodes 4 hours into the stream was hilarious 😂 My personal recommendation tho, is to save those for when the reinforcement packs for a faction drops, so for the imperial guard i would save em

I just started playing a couple days ago with the Astra Militarum (my fav faction in 40k), thanks for the vid! PD: It would be nice if you could chose some options for the legendary cards, as begginers we cannot place 4-5 legendary cards in a deck
I have a new player question here. For example we have an orc warlord in shop right now, but I main sisters. Should investing into purchasing a legendary warlord be wise compared to saving and waiting for the right faction card to appear in shop?
If you plan to play Orks yes you can. But it also depends if you will buy a premium campaign. I'd say the best start is always to do that and see what 4 legendary cards you roll before spending crystals
It's a good patch, but I really wish they would have put a little something in for every faction. There are a lot of cards that need love in this game, and the way they slow trickle out the buffs is agonizing
I'm disappointed in myself after i finished my Eldar set I was trying to decide between Tau and UM and I picked Tau, im only like half way done on campaign and collecting cards I'm not switching to UM just yet, but liked playing them before buffs
If you would recommend making just one purchase, what would it be? Is it the 2 premium campaigns? Also which 2 campaigns would you recommend in case I enjoy slow control decks that suffer at the beginning of the match to win at the end or something?
Why did they changed Telion? I loved that guy, his codex was super good. Why does EG have to get out of their way every patch to turn some fun legendary into a boring one?
Is it even worth playing ursula now after this nerf? If im not mistaken rest of astra strategems are average or bad. Missing nuke already 😢 Even thinking about card generation, at the moment game doesnt make a lot of situations where we are out of cards... I feel ppl gonna kick out ursula for 40hp one with removal and add another draw 2 cards into deck to fill up situations without cards. Same goes about about energy which i guess wasnt worth sometimes wasting additional energy to generate card and wasting tempo on board. Even her shock tropper dont compensate vanguard on board over killing smg for 3dmg without losing hp which is more certain than letting enemy decide what to do with vanguard. Imo in my opinion she lost her core as control. 2 of 3 cards were total late game cards paid with out early tempo and energy, they should pick up vanguard generator in the first place rather than killing her control aspect.
Ursula is about never running out of gas and versatility to maybe get what you need for when you need them. Of course Cadia Stands and Godspear picks are insane but other cards can be very useful and swing the tide of battle. Like full throttle on a big tank, move move move on flamer, or any cheap damage ping like free born soldier to win trades.
Being able to create zero cost cards like full throttle or born soldier is still very good , especially in tank decks. She's much more balanced now. The turn 2 cadia stands spams where really annoying
@@MALKAVIANsrle11 agree, felt like a War Shaper ability, only difference is that he gets +2 Health with his Duty ability replenished. War Shaper gets to heal everytime used for attack.
Hot take, but Aggressor sarge is unplayable unless he gets armor one or 1 hp. Its unfair that they buff his blast but he still gets nuked on drop Edit: Cool! He was buffed at long last, yay!
