Way better than the other video showing the moral points. That one has constant wandering around doing nothing, includes tons of unnecessary dialogue and waiting around and isn't clear what you're doing. This includes only where and what you need, explains in text exactly what you're going for and is 1h 20m shorter. Thanks for the hard work.
- Good ending: you can be a genocidal maniac that kills everything in his path (except those 3 nazis that surrender). But don't worry, because stalking on naked women having a shower, violating people's privacy by staring at them while they mind their own business, playing random instruments, walking to the other side of the train while your teammate is talking to you, drinking until you pass out (leading to the downfall of a poor bartender), watching the execution of a wounded red by his own comrade and almost entering the Kremlin after the dark one told you not to go near there will give you the pass to heaven! - Bad ending: Congratulations! You spared every single enemy instead of killing them (including, for some reason, the nazis gassing people), you forgave Lesnitsky and Pavel, you gave bullets to those in need, you saved two women from rape, you let the momma bear live and you even gave the teddy bear back to the kid! Yeah, well done, but you forgot to turn on your flashlight in that elevator, you looked at that dancing woman in the pole for 2 femtoseconds and you didn't find the corpse of a guy located in the most radiactive area of Moskow 😤 Gotta let you blow yourself up, killing your friends and god knows how many drafted soldiers and destroying the best place in the metro to live in!
5:33 while playing this I screwed up and killed everyone literally at the end a few meters away from this point, but somehow I still got the morality point? 🤔
I listened to every single possible conversation, saved everyone from bandits, spared all mutants and surrendering people, didn't even kill a person (Only knocked them out) I DID EVERYTHING EXCEPT PLAY 20 FRICKING VIOLAS AND HE JUST THINKS like ''Nah he's a Satan I ain't lettin him''
I remember playing this game on my Xbox 360 when I was younger and I got the good ending without even trying, now that I’m actually trying hella hard to get it I ended up not getting it🤦🏻♂️
i love this game, but I have to do all of this just to get less than 30 seconds. Catsing, fuck this. They make it like this hard just to show you that this game has too many details and you have to see EVERTHING to get a good ending.
if there's ever a third release they need to make its key gimmick the ability to travel to 5-10x the depth of the original game. To add to the horror aspect of it they should reduce the number of species with bioluminescent designs since, for me at least, the scariest parts of the game are where you jump feet first into a black abyss with no idea of what's beneath you. I think it'd be really cool if they made it your responsibility to add light to some of the darkest regions before being able to explore it safely, or you can risk exploring with just your flashlight or prawn suit headlights if you want the horror experience.
I suppose I got my bad ending for not bothering that much with stealth and killing like 40% of enemies. (Although when The Little dark one was watching I didn't kill a single human enemy, I quite literraly was running around punching people that were shooting at me LOL)
Just finished a replay of this and got the good ending this time without looking up the requirements since most of the moral points lean heavily into stuff i do by default. The first time i played i went in guns blazing most times and only spared Pavel and was rushing through the game because it was leaving Gamepass iirc. At least its my best explanation as to why i deviated from by normally slow progression gameplay.
In The TALOS Principle 2 1.1 update, the switch seems to have been moved to the back-right-hand side of the tower starting from the elevator. Man these structures are so complex that I do not know how to explain the structures to those with worse vision loss than mine. I'm talking incredibly detailed at that.
With the exception of the "text" monuments and numbers, the "map" momuments can be difficult for me to understand where I'm at. One example is in 2:28 and 6:09. I kind of wished Croteam could increase the contrast of the compass at the top of the screen. I set the compass size to huge in the beta, yet the compass can be difficult for me to read. I'm thinking having a compass be at the bottom of the screen might help me out better, but I don't think that would be possible. I have a visual disability.
I've passed on your message to a Croteam employee who have seen it. No clue if they will change anything, but Croteam have historically been great with accessibility features so who knows. Probably not helpful, but there are some motion sickness related accessibility features available on the beta which you can use to reduce motion. If you wanna have a look you can change to it by going to your Steam library -> right click the game in the list -> Properties -> Betas -> Set Beta Participation to 'openbeta - Public beta'.
you missed some moral pts but thank you i needed this. an advice for new players just play the first time as freely as you want then on the second playthrough watch this to get the good ending
Oh damn, West 2 was driving me crazy! I spent like 3 hours looking for the hidden driller... Never found it but managed to get the star by smuggling an activator out from puzzle #6.
@@buffes7771 I’ve played last light 6 times and got the bad ending each time☠️I finally watched this video and got the good ending today, giving me the last achievement I needed
