Visit that northern most point of Norway. Or maybe take the map of Norway grab a dart then close your eyes and throw that dart on the map wherever it lands visit that particular location. If it lands on Jan Mayan then visit jan Mayan or Hammerfest or Alta etc
I lived in Connecticut and moved to Texas because I got tired of the snow. I decided to log into 23 and me last night and lo and behold I must be pissing off my dead ancestors for my hatred of snow and ice lol. I like the sun too much but I’d love to play with a reindeer!
Planning to visit Norway in October, but surprisingly everything seems to be so far from each other and seems expensive just getting to these places. Am I correct?
Wouldn't it be worthwhile for the Charging stations to have credit card readers? Or maybe create an RFID tag that will work at multiple charge point operators where a user can link their credit card to it and auto reload the purse? Maybe such an RFID tag can be provided by the rental agency as a part of the rental agreement. Just throwing it out there, because the multiple apps situation seems needlessly complicated.
I’m a budget traveler. Maybe middle of the road to this would be my preference. Looks like a fun trial either run. 👏🏼🇳🇴 we’re going tomorrow to Stordal. So excited.
So their circadian rhythm is all out of whack and their nightlife sucks. Can’t see the moonlight glimmer on a lake or fresh powdered snow like millions of tiny diamonds? No meteor shower shows? Can’t watch the comets when they come passing through the atmosphere? They don’t get to see stars moons and the night with millions of stars in the sky. They don’t get to see a pitch black sky light up with beautiful sprites and lightning strikes that are breathtaking… they don’t get to find the open space with no trees and just lay down and watch for hours while it’s pitch black sky and see if 5 to 7 shooting stars every night? No night fishing when the bite is the best? No riding around and looking at everyone’s Christmas lights when it gets dark during the end of November all the way through December. No playing night games of football in everybody’s headlights with the cars lined up drinking beer in the field after hours at school in high school. no firework shows when it gets dark on Fourth of July to celebrate your independence??? Never being able to see the northern lights gorgeous auroras? And many many more things that Americans and people all over the world can only enjoy at night. things that you can only enjoy at night This is why i love my Country 🇺🇸 . Then all of a sudden it’s pitch black freezing cold cloudy and raining. Can’t see the sky for three months and the only upside to that is that’s the only time that you can see the northern lights auroras? You get three months to have a nightlife, and none of that is in the summer where you can skinny it with a girl or runoff in the middle of the night to the boat ramp and make out or two cliffs and make out at night only three freezing Months out of the year when it’s raining constantly And it’s freezing cold? That sounds like it sucks.
Sorry, I guess shared accommodations are more commonplace in Europe. It would be crazy to share a room with strangers here 😂 We cherish our privacy too much!
Hello there 👋! I've done the low budget in June and it was incredible! Stunning! Magnificent! I can't find enough adjectives for that! I walked all over the city, literally everywhere! I mean, you can't get enough, seriously... I went up mount Fløyen twice. Going up using the funicular, walking my way down. It is as Google maps says, about 47 minutes. What a magical place!!! The first time it was sunny, the second time misty and rainy!! I think I might have seen Legolas up there!! I had a day cruise round the city fjord. I chose one of the most affordable ones. You don't need to pay more, I spent the whole day on deck anyway just taking it all in. Yes, I can go on like this for hours, so I'd better stop now!!! Wonderful city!! It's such a vibe!! 🤔... Ok, byyyee!!!

I would go for the kanelboole. As a child my Norwegian mother in ND would take me to a friend's bakery every Saturday to eat fresh kanelbolle. Great memories.
I so enjoyed your narration. It reminds me of a trip I made 52 years ago (yes, 52!), hitch-hiking from Denmark, through Sweden and Finland, and finally down through Norway from the North. One of the joys of solo travelling is you meet people. I had a lift to Levanger, just north of Trondheim, and in the morning the same driver called for me at the hostel and took me to the city. And in the cathedral I bumped into a fellow traveller who I'd met in a hostel 3 days earlier. Absolutely memorable experience. The places and the people are unforgettable.
