USE RIGHT TIRE, AIR-INTAKE, COOLER, FUEL TANK PUT IN THE BACK GET MORE TRACTION AND PROTECTION ELECTRICITY NEED 100% WATER PROOF, MOST POINT CHOICE RIGHT TRACK TO GO SHOULD BE GOING MORE LONGER DISTANCE OR GET MORE POINTS !
Motley Crue Morris actually from what I’ve heard they basically slip the whole entire way down the strip. They don’t have gears and if it doesn’t slip at the start they’ll just spin the tires. That’s how they control all that power
Well i hope you find a way some day, you can always do like me and film these events and make some of the sweet youtube cash, though it isn't an easy thing.
Why doesn't anyone run a flat-bottom setup of aluminum sheet with an angled front skid plate and big scoop paddle tires? Hasn't anyone thought of/tried this or are there rules?
@@Ibex- Agreed, but I keep thinking of Icelandic Formula Offroad cars: Squat shape for stability, 4 x very wide paddle tires, most run a very long skid plate underneath as to not catch on anything rather slide over it and a ton of HP. So much they car drive ON water! Skim over the mud rather than end up pushing it like a dozer...
That is awesome !! lol your timing was perfect, seconds before i read your post my fee-mail friend told me to get rid of my beard, so we had a good chuckle when i read this to her. thanks for commenting ;)
One thing, would somebody please tell these guys to get out the gas when the wheels stop turning, or wear triple layer nomex with automatic extinguishers?
work out more,10lbs is a pile. I asked the owner and he told me it might have 1,000 he doesn’t really know and he’s not too concerned weather it does or doesn’t.
What if you could put the motor in the back get the weight off the front end to the back so pick up the front tires might be a little hard to steer but not be able to be 4 weel drive though I'm just thinking out loud
What would happen if Baldwin hit that hole at like 100mph in his trophy truck? Float across? Whats the trick- all these bounty holes seem to get owned by the Sherpa. Is it huge wheels? Lots of air for buoyancy?
Mike F lol well the 2019 bounty hole took place this last weekend and i will tell ya( spoiler alert) the Sherp finished in the Middle of the pack and a set of cut boggers took the win, vid will be out on you tube in the next week or so.
Lol at last call. Switched to a Chevy motor bc Ford couldn't do it. But the chassis setup is the main problem, too light of a front end bounces and loses all momentum
Your very right. They can get the wheel speed without issue but your talking about a motor turning 5k rpm hundreds of thousands of dollars of truck and it's not going to turn that long through that mud. The heavy hitter pullers can turn plenty of wheel speed after they get the sled moving but that's an entirely different story to mud. Way better off building a big gasser and letting it eat rpms. For a mud truck anyway
Tory Jeffery, the mud flats area is in a man made reservoir. So in a sense its man made, but we do not alter the holes in any form. They are natural mud holes from a reservoirs lack of water
this kinda make me wanna build me a mud truck. i have a 4-bolt main 454 - 4bolt main 350 . also have a 351w an 302 boss , also a 400. an a 427 . shit just cost alot even cost more once you break it lol. i just dont know
