I ate Rice and Curry in a small mountain town in Sri Lanka and something what has never happened to me before, happened. After my meal I tried some famous Sri Lankan yogurt (Chello). Then I left that restaurant and I was walking around the town, that got more and more foggy and eventually I could barely see properly on the streets.

We eat rice with fingers normally (at home) but if someone wants they can use utensils for that (specifically in important ceremonies like weddings ).we don't eat desserts with fingers mostly.We use spoons or forks.However Sri lankan food is really delicious when eating with fingers knowing correct methods (use your right hand to eat, do not let food to be touched on your palm and on the upper parts of your fingers because it is not pleasant.These are sri lankan habits) to handle them.🍛🌾🥥

don't eat the curries as a whole. try mixing with rice each curry(small portion) at a time

"Kithul peni" that you had with the yoghurt is not honey. It comes from the sap of a tree known as kitul palm. Just as maple syrup comes from the sap of the maple tree. The locals refer to it in English as kithul treacle.

Watalappan is a natural pudding made with eggs and jaggery. The taste varies a lot between different sellers. Some even have cardamom

This man is going to cheapest rooms, hotels, tea centres, snack bars...etc in the country & state negative comments on that places which directly impact to the country's tourism industry. There are many attractive places he has not visited & many more comfort to be discovered. Most of the local places he has visited was not originally designed to cater tourists. He is recording everything without knowing the local behaviour of the people. He is acting like a stupid & not as a foreigner from a well developed country like Germany ?

Sometimes he even lose common sense. And the most hilarious thing is he always search for trash bins in the middle of nowhere to throw something very small 😂 Otherwise a good guy though
