$1,978,000 - The BIGGEST Pot In American TV Poker HISTORY!

PokerGO’s recent Cash Of The Titans was filled with crazy action and huge pots. It was no surprise that they broke the record for the biggest pot in American TV poker history when Eric Persson clashed horns with long time poker professional Patrik Antonius!
This version of No Gamble, No Future was called "Cash Of The Titans". Blinds started at $500/$500 and increased every three hours. Players also posted $100,000 on the side, and the biggest winner at the end of Day 3 of play was awarded a $600,000 bonus.
This poker hand happens during the third and final day of the show so the players have been playing with each other consistently for about 14 hours and have built up a lot of history together especially from playing the stand up game where every player stands and you can only sit down when you win a poker hand (you must show the table your winning hand).
This poker hand starts with Persson in the hijack who raises to $7,000. Rob Yong calls on the button before Patrik Antonius decides to 3-bet to $30,000. Both Eric and Rob call. The flop gives Eric and Antonius a flush draw which is where the fireworks happen. Antonius continues his story with a slightly under half pot bet. Persson decides to take the aggressive line and raises to $140,000. This forces Yong to fold and Antonius decides to click it back to $250,000 and Persson calls. On the turn Antonius decides to bet about 25% pot. Persson’s response is to rip his entire stack in the middle for $692,000! Antonius doesn’t take too much time before calling and leaves Persson drawing dead in the biggest ever pot in American TV history!
Jonathan Little analyzes live poker hands from TV poker shows such as Poker After Dark, Hustler Casino Live, The Lodge Poker Club & PokerGO. He also analyzes popular poker vloggers such as Rampage Poker, Brad Owen, Jaman Burton, Ashley Sleeth, Wolfgang Poker and others!
You will also find many poker hands on this channel that contain some of the biggest names in the poker world such as; Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, Doug Polk, Garrett Adelstein, Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan, Dan ‘Jungleman’ Cates, Fedor Holz & many more!
Thank you to PokerGO for allowing me to use their footage!

I won a full buy in on the first hand of a new table once. Effective stacks 150 BB (table max), I hold AA UTG, I raise, BB 3 bets, I 4 bet, BB calls. Flop Q83r, BB open shoves with a pot sized bet, I call. OK, so it was a 1/2 table in 2006, villain had AKo, and it was only $300. I don't play much live cash.

I usually play only tournaments but I've enjoyed cash games in Vegas on vacations. I'm actually Finnish too like Antonius.🇫🇮 My biggest pot was measly $1380, it was only $1/2 game. Made a hero call with 3s5s (one pair) against missed draws. Not a lot of money but felt really good not going to lie.

Persson is sure to find the stupidest spots to bluff. The most likely hand Antonius has is AA considering the flow of actions, betting into the ace showing up, making a full house beating his flush draw. And he is SO EASY TO READ it's crazy. Imo a nut flush draw is always the ace high flush draw. It doesn't matter if better hands exist (boat, straight flush, 4oak). The nut flush is always the nut flush. Might not be the best hand..But it's evident if the board is paired so it goes without saying a flush isn't the actual nuts.

This whole hand is bonkers, by the way. Persson probably shouldn't be calling Q9s to the 3-bet pre, shouldn't be raising the flop ever. Patrik's click back is fine because Persson has clearly lost his mind but it isn't particularly great in theory either. We're so far off the game tree by the time we get to the turn I have no idea what's going on and what Persson should be doing there, so it's very possibly Persson is supposed to jam Q9ss because it's one of the worst hands he gets to the turn with and you can theoretically gets some K-high and 8x to fold. (even though Patrik shouldn't have much 8x in his range.) It's just nutso.

what was amazing was the click back on the flop. When he 4 bets, Persson would've 5 bet shoved if he had a real hand, so by clicking it back he knows that Persson doesn't have a monster when he just calls.
