@ 1:18 "It's a big mess" Your definition of mess is nowhere near my definition of mess! A mess is when you open the linen closet door and 50 things explode out onto you.
Who else tunes in to see the growing baby bump?! 😍 You're officially nesting girl! Enjoy this journey because being a mommy is amazing. Stay safe and stay healthy ❤
The little peanut is growing I see😀 in a month or so you will be using all those fans😀 you already sound like you are already having to catch your breath?
Hi Bethany, you look so happy! Enjoy organizing and "nesting" at this important (first) time, (cause its only first once)! Cherish these moments. Find contentment and peace. As Paul wrote in Phillipians 4:11 (KJV) Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. Bless you & Matt & Baby!
Great ways to stay organized. I think with my problem is I don’t have that much space. I want to grab me some baskets to put things in place. You always find some really cute finds from the dollar tree
Nice redo. The towels were not working for me......folding the edges inside work better. Not folding them on the carpet floor works better......especially where pets are! 😊
My mother has southern blood, my father western. Boy oh boy did I get lectured when I married into my husband’s family for calling them wash rags! So funny 😂 the cultural differences make in certain conversations.
Bethany - Hello! Great video. I love organization videos. I never thought to use that over the door hanger for the ironing board. Great idea. Blessings - Judith
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with having an extra supply of TP or other necessities. It’s actually a very smart practice to keep emergency supplies on hand like food, water, and toilet items. 😁
Bethany!! Can I get an ounce of your energy?! I see you’re wearing a a nasal strip. Lol I wore them in my 2nd trimester because I could never breath. I’m in my 3rd now and I’m so exhausted. Where do you find the motivation? I’m jealous!
I have a storage space that looks just like that. I’ve never rolled my towels before. Until I went visited my Uncle in fl. I came back and rolled all my stuff also the big towels. Took up way less space.
I bought 10 white nautica towels and i literally cannot used them! I've washed them many times, dried them, add baking soda etc and it keeps shedding fuzz everywhere! It triggers my allergies heavily..does anyone know if this can be fixed,i paid a lot for them to be thrown away.
YariGlows215 Just went through this myself! Hubby was getting lint on his face from my new towels. I almost gave up but they’re doing great now. I don’t use fabric softener. Dry them for at least 30 minutes. Hope this helps. Nautica brand are good towels.
Bethany, You are such a delight. I love your creativity and your positivity. You were my very first RU-vid subscription. Will you have a PO Box near the time the baby is due? I know people would love to send cards.
Love the baby bump.....my daughter has one too and they’re so cute!! Great job organizing Bethany.....we lack closet space as well and organization is definitely key. Thanks for sharing and I hope you’re feeling well. 🤗👶 #kindnessmatters
LOVE these videos! I just moved into a new house with my husband, and these videos give me tons of inspiration (and motivation!) for my own organization! 😊
Good you can be in rapture, you are pregnant. Lol. That is the way I fold bath towels. I have seen a lot worse mess of a closet. Not naming names but I don’t dare open a closet in my daughters house. Lol 😝 well done.
You did a fabulous job! I was brought up to fold bath towels that exact same way! 😉 I'm obsessed with those over the door hooks, I have them on the inside of my closet door & hang all my tanks on them & inside my hall closet to hang dusters & broom from & on bathroom door for towels 😂 they are awesome! Your Lil bump is too cute! 💙💙💙
Lol Bethany! You are being raptured... And then returned? Watch out...I don't think it should happen that way! I fold my bath towels the same & they fit the cabinet depth much better. Love the labels. My DT post covid shopping list is getting crazy!
If it were a good idea to leave my house, I would go out and buy storage bins to organize! The thin bin from the Dollar Tree looks like a new style, and it looks like a mature look! I'm starting to like natural shades for storage bins/containers!! I have been on the search for a chalk marker, how did I not know DT carries them!!
I hav such a sm bsthrm undersink cabinet in the bathrm & no drawers @ all. I put a over the door rack on the bck of the door. R linen closet is also very sm. So I was trouble fitting r sheets & towels so I'm goin 2 use ur suggestion of putting them under the bed. I was storing shoes but had a hard time accessing them or just plain 4 got. I wud need shies every day but sheets only 1 time per wk. Thx. U r so young but really good @ org/diy. I think ur funny & cute. & not afraid 2 b real & show the fails. Luv watching u. Luv seeing u grow. Get married buy a house & hav ur baby. That shows how long I've followed u! Thx keep putting out ur quality vids
Same. Was aboit to take oit an old heat and air unit that is inside the home that we don't need and replace water heater with a tankless one to make a kitcken pantrynwhere old hvac unit is and add to my closet where water is but them the Virus came and ruined it all. Can't use that money to do ot all in these though economic times. Where going to build new kitchen cab is nets and counters too bit that's also on hold. We just moved 3 months ago. Had redone a lot of stuff before we moved in and decided to go ahead and move in and finish work to save in rent. We were lucky amd be able to purchase land and home in cash. No rent now and no mortgage.
Beautiful organization of linen closet Bethany!!! The grey with the white is very fresh and clean looking. Hope your feeling well and you guys are staying safe!!!! Take Care and see ya soon!! 💗 Give Pepper a hug for me......
I have the same heating pad. LOL. You did good with the baskets you had. I like all my baskets/bins to be of the same color and style...but that's me and that's my pantry. I haven't done my linens with bins yet, but think it's where I'm headed. TYFS! 💖
I love you and your videos. You are so much fun and entertaining as well as the most clever person! I have learned so much from you. Thank you for all of the hard work you put into making these videos. Your closet re-do is great. I just wanted to mention that maybe you would like to think twice about folding towels on rug. Maybe you just did for video but it was just something that stuck in my crazy brain. Thanks again. Can't wait for next video.
I always said if one cant build a walk in closet, dont build anything, you explain that about those sides that are not easily accessed. A better build would be a curtain or an accordion door. The studs and drywall take up too much space. That turned out awesome. We love fans too. A place for everything and everything in its place is a great saying. Little tricky for us, because I have 3 of our 4 adult kids living with us and they struggle.
I love organization video's. My trouble spots are the kitchen and laundry room and I have bins of pictures that I need some ideas for organizing. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
LoL it's so cute how naturally you're taking to nesting & being pregnant! And even though it's awful what's going on, it's nice how it's giving so many people a chance to recharge at home & unlike Holiday time where you have time off but it's booked w get together's & shopping & endless to do's, right now even if people are bored they're able to have more family time & time to do new things at home they plan on doing but never have time for! I know it's not that way for everyone but for so many it is & it's giving the Earth time to heal a little as well. Even though there's a lot to be sad about, there's a few bright spots! I choose to find them! God Bless you & your new little growing family Bethany! Love your videos! Can't wait for more DIY's! Enjoy your time at home relaxing, even if you're bored, cuz pretty soon you'll be busy & up all night taking care of your precious baby boy lol! 🙏🏽🦋
Very ice, thanks for sharing. I am behind watching due to being under the weather but I am feeling a bit better so I am trying to catch up. I hope you are staying safe. Keeping you and your's in my thoughts and prayers. I will be looking forward to your next video until then please take care and God bless!
I loved what you said about the toilet paper. I bought two Sam's size bags before everything was going on because it was on sale. I always mention that I wasn't a crazy person that was hoarding all of the toilet paper. 😂
You know I don't even have to see the vedio first I know its a tums up rite away. im. like freaking out on your ideas your vedios are AMAZING love them thanks for shareing with us...
I luv almost all ur vids. I'm not crazy about ur farm house style l e stuff cuz it's def Not my style l e. But ur imaginative & ta l ended. Thx don't stop making ur content
Bethany, great organizing! But wondering if your black shelf you want to get rid of could be used under a bed, in the basement or garage. With a coming wee one, you acquire so many new things. Might be helpful if you look at it in a different position?
Just want to say I haven't been able to make any comments until now got to tell you your baby is gorgeous and your DIYs are really great and I'm really really proud of you for all your accomplishments and thank you for sharing and God bless
Love your videos. Though, as a nurse I cringed when I saw you folding towels on the floor. Think about where the bottom of your shoes and your animals have been . All those pathogens are all over your towels.
I learned a lot from your video, especially the towel folding. We are so used to the Komari method of rolling towels for storage, that we forget that like you said, we should instead fold them to fit our shelves. By following your suggestion on both hand and bath towels, it freed up a whole shelf in my linen closet.
I like to put my sheets and pillowcases on a heavy hanger in the bedroom it belongs to at the back side of the closet. We have a few kids and there was usually a disagreement ( roaring tantrums) about who picked which sheets when they were in the linen closet.
What made it so much better to put the toilet paper in a basket when it did the same purpose all by itself just on top of each other? I am just asking and NOT wanting to sound sarcastic. Was it more a look or was it a functionality thing that you liked better. I feel baskets take up a bit more room on a shelf that an inch can make a big difference to fit things on its own self.
LOL! I have a bunch of little fans too and for the same reason. I take them to work and on vacation or even just a night away because I'm always hot too. I've never met anyone else who does this! Now you know you are not alone.
love it! We live in a townhome, no storage and don't even have a linen closet. We use an old dresser at the top of our stairs to hold all towels, rags, wash cloths, etc.
A lady did a tutorial on organization & storage frm dollar tree. And she suggested using the mesh laundry hampers to hold toilet paper & paper towels. I love it
The art of rolling linens and clothes for storage is a great way to store these items. The military has been teaching to use this method for many years.
