Thank you so much 💕I will hopefully have a Valentine’s Day wreath tutorial for you soon! I am going tomorrow to see if I can find some cute valentines.
😲WOW! I never would've thought about doing the technique you did putting the mesh on the yard stick. I did this and it was so easy. I didn't have to fight with the mesh. It made my swag very full and fluffy. So ty for sharing this. But, not only was your swag beautiful, but girl, I'm from Louisiana and I really wish my hair would curl and look as good as yours. Lol. Great job on the swag & hair. Lol.
Christy Williams Aww😘 Thank you ❤️ You made my day!!! I really appreciate it. I am so glad you made it and are happy with the result. I love using yardsticks.❤️ Thank you also for the compliment on my hair. My daughter curled it for me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. 😀
If you’re lucky enough to find the cheap supplies at Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart. They fly off the shelves. I ended up buying SOME of the things (not nearly the amount that she has here), at Michael’s and it was over $50.
Thank You for the idea, I think this would work for what I want to do in my windows for the Holidays. I'm going to do a yard stick for a trial run. I love how this turned out and all the layers and colors. So Beautiful!!! TFS your idea and talents with us.
Judy Mathena Hi Judy❤️ thank you ❤️ I made one around the 4th of July that is patriotic using a yardstick, but I did it without hot gluing the pipe cleaners on. I just wrapped the pipe cleaners around the yardstick. If you have time to watch it, it might be a little bit easier to make. It sounds like you have the perfect spot for one. Let me know if you have any questions.
Connie Towler Thank you very much ❤️ Depending on where you live, you might want to use a different type of glue. Some ladies have told me that hot glue will let go in cold climates. I hope you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day ❤️
ADORE It!!! First Of All, I Was Searching For A Technique Like This For Some Things I Wanted To Make. I See So Many Variables!!! TY VERY Much!!! Kathy, CT, USA
I'm so glad I found your channel, I tried forever to follow other people's directions for these and it looked like a holy mess lol. You give great directions with beautiful ideas. Gotta get some yard sticks! Thank you!
They are perfect for mantels. I have put several different ones on my mantle throughout the years. I just uploaded a new fall one similar to this one a few days ago. It is easier to make than this one. I can't wait to start making Christmas decorations. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.
Thank you so much. It is really easy too. You might want to use gorilla glue or a stronger type glue depending on where you live. I had a couple of ladies to tell me that hot glue will let go in colder areas. Just a thought. I hope you have a great day.
This is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I'm always looking for wreath inspiration other than the traditional round wreath. I especially love swags but most of them use an evergreen based. Which, at least in my area, is not readily available year round. But I can buy yard sticks anytime. And they are cheaper.
Hi Susan! Thank you very much. I also like to use splatter screens to make wreaths. I added a few tutorials on them last week. If you have time to watch them, they are simple and inexpensive to make.
Thank you dear. I like both. The splatter screens do not take as long to make. I guess it depends on where you are wanting to place it. This swag also makes a beautiful garland for your mantle or even down the center of your dining room table.
Rubi Ruiz Hi😀 thank you ❤️ I uploaded a week or so ago my 2019 Fall yardstick door swag. If you have not seen it, it is probably a little easier to make and less expensive.
You are so sweet. Thank you. I actually got points taken off by a supervisor that was doing an evaluation in my classroom for having a childlike voice.
Love the yardstick idea! I dont care for the white, so ill leave that out, which will take away some "puffiness", which will suite my taste better...but yours is beautiful. Tfs!
Ruthann Guidry Thank you! I uploaded a similar one a couple of days ago. I hung it up on my door in the video. It is made with 2 rolls of the 10 inch deco mesh, pumpkins, ribbon, fall leaves and some floral picks. I did a different method on it. I will be making a Christmas one in a month or so. I have just started buying Christmas decorations. Thank you for watching.❤️
The gold ones on the wall are from Hobby Lobby a few years ago. Hobby Lobby has some smaller ones you could paint gold for 90%off labeled Spring Shop on sale now.
