After mounting carbon frame/swingarm covers with that 3m tape, i now stick to doing velcro tape instead now. With the way the frame heats up and cools down, you'll often have areas unstick, but if you try to remove the whole peice it's still scary. So it's both impossible to remove and feels like it wants to fall off at the same time. The velcro, on the other hand gives you all kinds of wiggle room, holds it just as steady as you'd expect from the adhesive tape, and also is significantly easier to remove the peice for buffing or other things. My 2 cents. Although it won't hug nearly as tight, which can be a consideration
I was sitting crossed legged on the floor, when I pushed up I felt a “pop” it was actually a tear on my meniscus. Get it checked out as soon as you can. I didn’t with mine and worked on it for a year, had to have surgery after and have a piece of it removed. Bone on bone now, arthritis here I come.
Worst was me tearing my ACL at a friends homemade hockey rink when the ice collapsed in one corner lmao. Hope nothings wrong with your knee! I’ve torn my meniscus and ACL (both in hockey), and it was some of the most annoying things I’ve ever dealt with. Still deal with pain today. Stay safe brotha!
We went full crazy on that paint job! We felt it was fitting for such a wheelie prone hooligan bike. Its certainly a "loud" paint job, and is not for everyone ;)

I really do believe that a black with gold pin stripes and red LED BMW badges would seriously set this bike off. Gold Metallic pin stripes. Like that front fairing on the triumph
You really should look into some of the BMW concepts/race cars over the years and pull inspiration from that to do something similar to the Triumph on the S1KRR

Replacing plastics with carbon makes sense to me, but putting carbon on the frame and stuff that never had covers on it, surely you’re just adding weight? (I know it’s pretty much negligible but it’s still weight none the less) I’m sure it’ll look awesome though
Was on a roof this was like a year ago now with a few friends just exploring and security spotted us so I went to run and little did I know there was a support beam right next to me that I hit my knee on! The pain I felt is not even explainable and hasn't been right since lol

Can u make a winglets that suite the s1000rr, joining the winglets game as all the other major manufacturers have winglets on the bike. Maybe like u can find the suitable winglets design and 3D printed it?
Seems like you got a ligament tear man, my mom once tore the ligament in her knee just turning. She was standing, turned to the left quickly, tore the ligament 🤷🏾♂️

I've definitely had plans to get the carbon front fairing since I'm getting the race package not the m package. And itll match my 08 CBR1000RR with having a CF front but red everything else
All my S1000RR has is the rear tail in carbon which is absolutely gorgeous btw. But I need to get the front fender, gas tank cover, and the cowl to replace passenger seat on mine in carbon and the peg block offs to truely go solo.
Well I tipped my bike over in a slow turn at a steep parkinglot, motorcycle landed straight on my right leg breaking it .. I needed surgery and was out of work for 5 months .. really sucks! .. That is also a stupid way to get yourself hurt .. hope this helps a bit :D stay safe !
I have all the BMW M Carbon parts on my S1000RR. Bellypan from Ilmberger and I can tell you, the Ilmberger Carbon is a 100% match in collor, weave and finish with the BMW Carbon. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ilmberger makes the BMW M carbon parts.

Moto, do check your front calipers for the known issue of the K67 leaking brake fluid from the factory. Would be a shame to get DOT 4 fluid on the carbon bits... or even worse, reduced stopping power!!

So on October 3rd I ordered a brand new Yamaha and it was gonna be the first one in my country and it got delayed about 3 times, then I was confirmed a delivery date of 14th of December, buttttt on December 11th I was messing around with my friends in a forest behind my friends house and it got dark and we decided to start heading back, and on the way back I twisted my ankle after slipping on some damp leaves and I landed on it and broke it and have had to get surgery and metal plates and screws in my ankle and I can’t drive my bike or even pick it up and it’s just sitting in the show room and every time I pass by I see it there at the front displayed so everyone can see. I hope that made you feel better 😩😩
I had a coworker 5 years ago that tore her mcl getting down to pray at church. She was in good shape too, what you call a"fit chick" ended up needing a surgical repair.
