I have an unhealthy love of hotpot videos. I live in rural southeastern Kentucky and it’s on my bucket list to go to a hotpot place at least once in my life!
German here. First and last hotpot I had was in the 1990s, in one of the first mongolian restaurants in Hamburg, near the phantom of the opera theater. Loved it. That experience lead to my love for asian food.
The fish ball with roe filling will never get old. It has a lovely juicy taste even if you don’t use it for hotpot. Just three minutes of simmering in hot water (if it’s not frozen that is) and it will be finish cooking!
me meh i just like it taste ig,i mostly just kinda cut it in half with my chopstick or poke it and pour the hot water out and then just eat it,never really notice the juicy thing
Hi Genshin Girl Despite not actually playing Genshin I watched some videos and apparently a character named Qiqi punched a character named Hu Tao in the face once. I didn’t find that nice until I realized Hu Tao kidnapped Qiqi in a bag and tried to bury her alive since she’s a zombie Basically. Qiqi punched Hu Tao in the face and it’s kinda funny to ke
Honestly I started watching these videos as learning experience, but the more I watch them I not only learn more, but your wife is so adorable and fun to hang out with (I eat my meals during these videos to not feel so lonely sometimes 🙃). Your videos are awesome and thank you for both of your time!!
@intpleb4206 I believe they're both women, though I'm not sure. I've read from comments on other videos that you can see they're both women from their social media posts but I haven't seen said posts myself as I only follow them on RU-vid.
As always, I love Ms. Bacon’s expressions when she eats something yummy!!! I would love to see you too Bacon #1. We used our hotpot/grill about a week ago…can’t thank you enough for introducing the West with this invention and deliciousness!!!❤️
Love watching the videos for the cultural experiences. A question I have is about the leftovers, how well are they packaged up and how well do they do the next day? I don’t think I’ve seen a video of how creative you surely are with whipping things up with all the leftovers you have. Amazing possibilities!
they are normally only order what they can eat,, but if there is a situation where they couldnt finish the hotpot, the staff will cook it for them, and packaged it for them to take away (you can watch them in one person hot pot from hadilao video, he couldn't finish the food and the staff prepared it for them)
Why do I watch this before dinner. This food looks so delicious that I'm so tempted to get hot pot.(but I already spent way to much on buying premade food) I can't wait to visit your country so I can have some. Thank you both Dancing Bacon.
This looks very good! I’m British and have never eaten anything like this before. I don’t think I’d know what to do and would worry that I didn’t cook the food thoroughly. But a great culinary adventure I would love to try!
Have always loved Asian cuisine from all over but a hotpot is something I am DYING to try, and I think this fall or winter will be perfect since right now it’s too hot to eat soup for me 🥵 I love watching your videos after a long day!! Dance on Bacons!!!
reminder to try hotpot! We love a Tom Yum base with a little chicken bouillon to round out the flavor. Don't forget noodles! Favorite veggies: -potato -cabbage -chunks of corn on the cob -onion -carrot Favorite proteins: -bacon -hot dogs / some sausage -boiled eggs -mushrooms -tofu (even if you don't like it normally, it's good) -sliced beef/chicken/pork is good, but frankly I can't be bothered to prep it usually
I have to stop watching the 🥓 Bacon's when I'm hungry it gives me so much pleasure to eat with my eyes, but my stomach grumbles and my wife gets mad. Bacon's, we ❤ watching, the reaction from your wife is priceless, the look on her face says it all.
My family loves hotpot! But I get disappointed at the end of the meal because we spend an hour making the broth delicious and then they just throw it away. I kind of want to take it home and drink it later. 😁
Aesthetically pretty hotpot! Idk if some of the stuff was practical though… like the rack for the meat *looked* nice but it was impractical since the meat was falling out everywhere 😅 would have probably been better if it were just on a plate. The collagen rose was cute though!
Couldn't click play fast enough! Love y'all so much. I can't WAIT to try my first Hot Pot restaurant...sadly, there aren't any near me. I have watched so many of your videos I feel like I'll be very prepared. Hahaha
Whenever i eat something i subconsciously open one of your videos, it fires up my appetite since the stuff i eat are bland:( i enjoy feeling like im eating on the same table as you two!
This is my favourite shabu-shabu restaurant. I always order miso soup as base and mixed chicken and lamb set. Always the same thing everytime 😂 Though at the branch I usually go, they never served us edamame up front.
Lol all these hotpot vids have made me crave to taste it so went on a google hunt & found a authentic hotpot restaurant in Stockholm so booked tables for Saturday. Just have to drive little over an hour to get there but hopefully so gonna be worth it, never had it so Im excited to taste it 😄
Warning to visual sensitivity people for epilepsy. About halfway thru , either the camera or the lights starts messing up. Only lasts for a few seconds! Heads up!
