@alishski I'm aware not faulting anyone. I get that people have different preferences. But from observation it seems influencers are constantly critiquing companies for red undertones in foundations or bronzers. Lol I'm just here to point out some consumers like myself don't mind. But I sympathize with their frustrations.
@@gisellespringer I see both sides i enjoy the red tone because it's like a blush/bronzer combo for me! but bronzers are meant to warm up the face so i would understand why she would let those know before buying it that it has a heavy red undertone bc it's not very common and not for everyone
I'm not sure if us brown girls even need bronzer except during the summer months I once found a bronzer with no sparkles that worked as a powder. I lived in Florida at the time and it was too hot for much else. Bronzer and lipstick...out the door.
As a black woman I do prefer bronzer to be warm, since they’re meant to warm you up. But I also have a warm undertone so that might be why I prefer warm toned bronzers.

Being a medium olive skinned gal myself I often have trouble finding Good, wearable shades of bronzers, blushes, foundation, etc. like darker skinned ladies do as well. I got these NYX Butta Bronzers after seeing them on RU-vid & they are Great!!! VERY pigmented, wears well & I got shades #2 & #4 and I couldn't be happier with this purchase!! 😊💜

As soon as you started talking I said to myself “ physicians formula” then as soon as you said “ physician formula” I said “YES” but THEN you said you can’t find one dark enough for you and I yelled in my living room “YES THEY DO HAVE ONE FOR US NOW!” 😃😃😃😃😃. You are the same skin tone as I am in the summer time you MUST try the The “physicians formula murumuru butter bronzer -Endless Summer” they even have 2 darker shades than that now! 😊 give it shot for us olive and darker skinned tone folks!
@@danielalvarado9019I literally went to target before making this video for the physicians formula darker shades to compare. They only had the 2 lightest shades. Just cause they have all the darker shades online doesn’t mean it’s inclusive lol nyx had the darker shades in stores
@makeupbymonicaa that really sucks that it's not in any stores near you. I bought the darkest shade at my local CVS, and I'm in a predominantly white area. Weird.

I use the Physician's Formula ones. I'm sure they have a color for you and at least 2 colors deeper than you, although that's it. Works well. I use a domed, tapered brush small enough for highlighting, but more dense than a highlighter brush (multi tasking brush from Col-lab at Sallys). Works great to stipple powder bronzer on. Can't name ONE other brush I like for the task and I have a decent collection🤑
Physicians Formula came out with more shades of the butter bronzer a few years ago. I think the darkest shade is called endless summer - not sure if it’ll show up on darker skin tones but it does on my medium- tan skin. I think it’s similar to Nars Casino.
I want all of these! I think will be excellent on the eyes too! Oh & I just know you’ll be testing Elf’s new bronzing drops 😉. I just ordered all three shades! I want to see how they all look on this caramel lady! ☺️
But the consept behind them is it’s meant to be blush/bronzers that literally what it’s meant to do so I think they nailed it if your light or deep and don’t want to be putting in bronzer blush highlight contour. It’s a one a done idea
I mean, if you're gonna swatch 3 shades on your neck, would appreciate it if the shade names were mentioned on screen, because the ones that you didn't pick might just happen to be thw one we wpuld go for..but the shade is unknown.
Oooooh. I’ve been using the same Butter Bronzer for more years than I would like to admit, but I just hit pan and I will have to check these out! Physician’s Formula has had more than enough time to fix their range and doesn’t deserve more of my money if they won’t expand their range to be inclusive.

The best bronzer ive ever used was the baked bronzer by urban decay- the matte one. It made your skin look amazing. It was so good UD discontinued it. That brand died a slow death after that imo
I am still sad I cant use these because of some the ingredients would force me into needing my EpiPen ;-;. Monicaa- is there anything you know of that performs similarly and or same texture. Not a dupe but comparable.
I loved physics a formula! However, never got it in the UK so everytime I toon a trip stateside I could buy it!! Love that nyx are becoming a major GOAT for drug store makeup!

they’re definitely too red for me, i am fair and the shade i bought looked more like a blush on me but to be fair i am quite olive toned for being so pasty. if you’re a red girly this is the bronzer for you, maybe not too flattering if you’re olive toned or very yellow undertones
Physicians formula does have darker colors. There's one called sculpting and another one called endless summer. Endless summer is more reddish though. So sculpting is more neutral.
Ugh can they not put fragrance in it. I dont like the physicians formula one. Firstly it doesnt show up and then on top it stink and makes me feel like im going to break out
These look great! Kind of shitty to straight up copy physicians formula, I smell a lawsuit 😂 but I guess they aren’t the first makeup company to dupe another lol! PF DOES have darker shades but they often just don’t have them in store which is so stupid.
