In this Fishing Challenge I take you guys with me to a local Community Yard Sale to see what fishing gear steals we can find! We then take our new gear out to test it in the waters and see if we can catch fish on our yard sale finds!
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 67,900! I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

I love that old rod and reel you picked up. I just think the looks of old stuff like that. I have a bunch of old 50s - 70s outboard motors just cause they look cool. Fun trout fishing too!

Trout fishing is one of my favorite things as well. My biggest one was 16.5 lb. Brown out of the Cumberland river right below Wolf Creek Dam in Kentucky. I actually released it as well. I think this was one of your better challenges yet!

Ayyye Linvilla orchards is lit it's the best during the spring tho and when it's hot they all chill in the back by the water pipe to catch some fresh air. Just keep doing your thing and making Delaware proud!

The Daiwa GS reel was considered an upper middle end reel back in its day. Those fiberglass Eagle Claws are a blast to fish. You did well for $10.

A curlytail from that tackle box could work really well for trout. For freshly stocked trout any kind of pellet or lookalike(magot-casters) should work great two.

next time u go there use a crazy fast action 7,6 UL rod with two pound test and a chartreuse firecracker mini tube with a 1/32oz jig head. I'm there all the time and always catch fish. Went on the last weekend it was open for the season and landed 6 palominos and a bunch of browns. During trout season in march and April, they put in trout up to 12 pounds in there and they are fun to catch on #2 test. during may they put in like 2-30 pound channel catfish and hybrid stripers. i catch them on live bluegill.

First state fishing Here in Eastern Idaho we have some fire spots for brook trout that are an average of 18-20 inches and they taste awesome.

That was a daiwa GS-13 reel. The GS stands for Gold Strike. I had quite a few of those back in the 80s.

When I was a kid my parents took me to a pay lake out on the eastern side of Pennsylvania when we lived in Allentown and I caught a 28.5" rainbow on a little Zebco spincaster kid's rod and reel.

I miss living in fishing country, in Western Canada not many people fish, back home in Ontario every yard sale you went to you could pick up tackle boxes loaded with rapalas for $10.

You can pitch in eggs, get them used to it, then toss in a handful along with a hook that is covered with eggs. Someone will swallow it without a thought, but you won't be able to release it. I found out the hard way. 8( Effective, but lethal. I'll never fish like that again unless I intend to keep my catch... Beautiful 16" trout handlined from a kayak on East Lake in Oregon. I found someone to take it so it wasn't wasted.

oh wow ive got that exact same reel but a different rod! when me and my brother were kayaking one time we found a rod/reel in perfect condition sitting in some lily pads behind an abandoned house. had some brand new line, a really nice in line spinner and 0 rust anywhere. i really like how beefy the reel feels but still not too heavy, ive caught many bluefish on it haha

I planned a trip with you and extreme, but neither of you guys replied. You would catch tons and tons of trout man. It's a creek about 15-20 mins from there. Ridley Creek State Park. Try worms (I think you guys call them night crawlers?) for trout, due to their predatory nature they're much happier to hit something that's wriggling and moving than a static bait

you should do a video on how to find awesome fishing spots. i've been looking at stuff on google maps. maybe go over on how to find out if you can/cannot fish certain areas? also; tbh if i paid more than a few dollars to fish somewhere, esp 9-10, i'd be taking home at least 1 fish, even if it meant giving it to someone else to cook & eat.

Hey dude, I caught a bass out of a lake a few years back using a Hotwheels Toy Car. Because of that story I ended up mounting the bass. It measured 19" 3.74 lbs. You want a fun challenge try using a Hotwheels toy car.

barbless hook challenge in england there are quite a Few places where you have to use barbless hooks and it really really improves your Fishing and makes you a better angler. iF you cant Find barbless hooks i can send you them or squash the barbs with pliers
