I’m telling you, I use the vapor for school ball. It isn’t that bad. The vibration is horrible but if you piece it up right it is fire. Overall I think worth the $100

Used the Vapor my senior year and loved it. Everyone else hated it but as a lefty pure contact hitter who went the other way a lot, it helped me out a few times on some ugly two strike swings where I just happened to get barrel to ball.

Love your channel. I'm old. It cracks me up that you guys think a bat hurting on a miss hit is a big deal. That was every bat when I played. Every bat was basically the vapor. All the bats we used are illegal now. I used a -5 until I was a senior and they switched ot to -3. Wild times. I wish we had bats like this when I was playing. They seem so awesome. When the Omaha came out we thought it was gods gift to baseball.

The Vapor is a GREAT practice bat. Can really build someone’s strength. Hard to use, but hits very good for a $100 dollar bat. Especially when you use a different bat during game, it’s a new world.

There is a clear correlation between sweetspot and exit velo for these Louisville Sluggers. The more sweet spot you want the more exit velo you lose.

You have to appreciate that these guys spent over $2000 bucks for this vid 🤯🤯

Nothing better than a good old Easton Black Magic 33/30! That bat was just awesome back in the day. I'm sure these new bats are beyond incredible, but the Easton Black Magic back in the late 80's - early 90's was the way to go!!!

33 stinger nuke is hands down my favorite bbcor bat I have swung. Great barrel size, crazy pop, and sounds great. Only downside is the taper is terrible so you need to retape it but the bat is absolutely bonkers

I was a 3 year starter (covid took my senior year) in college so i wasnt too bad and every year id use the new omaha, I absolutely loved it but also out of like 400 at bats in college i only had 1 homerun lol but omaha will always have a special place in my heart. The 5150 was also pretty popular have you guys reviewed it?

Have yall ever compared late 90's, early 00's bats to current? for example when I played the big names around here were the TPX Air Attack and Air Attack2, Easton Redline, and TPX Omaha. That would be a cool comparison to modern bats.

the vapor reminds me of the old Easton Typhoon from the BESR days when I played. CHEAP, end loaded af, terrible sweet spot size and rung the ends pretty bad. but would send balls flying if you pieced it. thankfully wasn't my everyday bat, just for fun in Babe Ruth here and there. Normally used Easton Connection and then the Easton Synergy, when the connection broke, from high school ball and rec league. swung 34/31

Would love to see them make a quality solo bat with a lot less feedback. A power guy myself I don’t prefer the extreme end loads and more of a lighter swinger but I’ve swung it before and I love the swing weight and the pop it has, just rings you up bad enough for me not to use it.

Endload bats were the only ones I could get good contact with anyway. I always topped the ball with balanced bats.

Don't know your names, but the left hander has the best swing. If he shortened his stance a little, he could get his hips rotated more and generate monster power with his swing mechanics.

I'd like to know how many swings players take these days, compared to the 1980s back when they had the old Worth bats, then the Eastons, then into the 90s and so on - all this talk about comfort. When I played, we never talked about that. If you hit it poorly, you got stung and that's just the price you paid for a bad swing. It didn't make us practice less though. So, why not just go with the Vapor from the start and make yourself into a better hitter and save that cash for a better glove etc. Quality makes the most impact in your glove, IMO. Function way better and last much longer. If you're a good hitter, it doesn't matter what bat you bring to the plate - you are going to rake. If you can find one of the old Worth bats, please do a video. Those things were hideous. So glad I never had to use stuff from that era.

I have the vapor, I wanted to pick up a relatively low priced bat. While I do think that it is a good bat and it has a lot of potential for really precise hitters, I think that the more expensive bats really do a great job of being less forgiving. The barrel size of the vapor just isn't that big, and it does feel heavy for some odd reason.
