I loved this series. So many times you see tips on how to DIY things for less, but the DIY is still too expensive. Yours are perfect! You can find $10 in the couch cushions lol

My husband said that many years ago he made a distressed coffee table for himself when he was in the Navy (long before we ever got married.) He said he used a big chain to whallop it with, to make dings and dents all over it before he stained it. Not only did his friends think it looked great, when they came over to watch football games, etc, and it was huge, made with big, sturdy pieces of lumber (4” x 4” legs??) but NOBODY felt bad about setting their drinks down on it and leaving “water” marks, etc!! ((& Everybody that saw it wanted one just like it!!)) 😳👍❤️😉

I appreciate how you always have your children with you and how you can still do so much while keeping them busy, playing with them, teaching them, checking on them, and including them in anything that you are doing! It shows the Real side to being a stay at home mom and the reality of how kids should be involved in helping out. So many you tubers moms have a whole video on cleaning, cooking, decorating, getting ready and working out while their kids where never even around! There is No way that a pregnant mother with 3 kids under 3 or 4 could get all that done and not have them hanging on her or wanting to be involved!! My 3kids all want to feel involved and always love helping me decorate or just do household duties! Especially when I was pregnant!! Lol!!! You show us how to trully do everything and still be a MOMMY to them!! My babies come first, always 💙 💓 ❤ 💕 💖 💗

Very pretty! I seen on Trading Spaces if you wipe down the wood with a wet rag right before staining you will see more of the wood grain once the piece is stained.

Thank you so much for" this tutorial! I made this ladder, and it was relatively easy. To people who are planning to do this in the future, I would recommend doing the follwoing based on my experience: -Soft wood such as this requires a pre-stain conditioner before actual staining, which adds around $5. This is a must for the stain to work and have good absorption, coverage, etc. -Drill pilot holes before inserting screws! Makes it SO much easier and prevents you from stripping the screws. -Use 2.5" wood screws (2" as shown in the video weren't long enough) -If you're adding a shiny glaze at the end, you will also need a high quality brush to apply that (not just a rag, which is all you need for the conditioner and stain). Thanks again for the fun project and the money saved!!

Just made this tonight and I had 4 - 17 inch pieces left over. I took a screenshot of the measurements and had them cut exact measurements. I’m thinking if I was supposed to have one 17 inch piece left over then it should be cut longer than 5 ft. It still looks ok but I do wish it had been a little bit taller so that’s why I’m commenting on here, just in case someone else decides to make one for themselves. I love your channel and I’m so happy for you having hit over 1 million subscribers. Congratulations

Coming from a small town, I have never bought anything at PB, but I have walked thru. About HDepot, in school, we did community/social service at the local shelter. It was Fall and the shelter had a stove with 1 working burner, no glass in the oven and a small fridge serving 100s of meals. They had a rustic service door they would pull up/down over the counter to serve. I contacted the local HDepot in a letter to management with praise that they had helped me personally when my oven quit. I explained the shelter's extensive needs and they provided all NEW appliances, a NEW service door/window, & landscaping. So Nice! They LOVE their communities! I LOVE to Give Back too. You can feel GOOD to shop with them ; )

An easy way to make sure both sides are the same height before placing the 'rungs', is to put them side by side, then measure and draw a line across both side pieces at the same time. Make sure to mark a Right & Left side at the top of the pieces to keep then orientated correctly. Love the ladder idea! Thanks for all your videos sharing the wonderful ideas!
