I wouldn’t just throw 1k on the jeans however, if I have money dedicated for jeans then yes. I would still need to try the jeans but I’m convinced that they’d be comfortable and fitting.

Never say Never! If you had the coins and weren't living paycheck to paycheck you'd pay any amount for whatever you like/love. I used to say that I'd never spend over $100 on a pair of shoes. That's when I made minimum wage tho! LOL I just bought my first pair of shoes that were significantly over $100 and my pockets ain't hurting! Nah mean?!

I agree, but only to a point. Shoes are more unique/exclusive by brand in style and design where as a style of jean can be found replicated many times over without much notice of who made them. With that being said, on both there is still a limit to how high I would go before feeling like I'm getting ripped off. It's really important to some to rock certain stuff but I only care so much about clothing items, which is superficial to begin with, and has more options in style and price range than we could ever try.

Whether it’s worth it or not depends on how much value you put into the product. I would easily put 3k into a camera with another 2k into a lens. For me it’s worth it, but I know a lot of people who would be perfectly happy with their smartphone camera.

Everyone is entitled to his opinion, and there really is no way to objectively determine if something is worth the price, but I don’t feel the comparison to the expensive camera is quit accurate. A camera is a complex mechanical and/or electronic device. There are tons of moving and non moving parts that I’m sure have to be sourced from other specialized companies. It takes a lot of skilled labor to produce. I can think of even more reasons, but my point is that the cost of making a high end camera has to be many times more than the cost to make a pair of jeans, yet the price of the jeans is similar to a decent camera. The price of the jeans is even more absurd considering that they have rips, tears, and holes in them. I just don’t get it

There's 2 types of ppl. Rough denim lovers (old style) and soft denim lovers (new style). If you want rough denim, go Balmain, true religion, etc. If you want soft denim, go Amiri. If you want a mix of both, go Levi's, buffalo, h&m, gap, anywhere.
