All you need is a ladder. Great lead driver. #2022washseason #hustle #evolution #powerwashing #onemanonetruck #housewashing #roofwashing #softwashing #guttercleaning
You are straight up legit, freaking me out on that ladder. I hate hights... I fell off a 100 foot cliff when I was 12, slid 60 feet, and almost off another 200 footer with bolders at the bottom... I stopped 3 feet away... Broke my left arm, and scrached up. No big deal... Cant stand hights now... and here I am thinking about roof washing... WTF is wrong with me... NOOOOO... Im out...
I use to make 1000 a day, now i rise my prices a little bit and Im making $1400 average.. customers appreciate your hard work, work ethic, trust, commitment.. thank you for the awesome video.. I subscribed
Yeah totally agree and he gives us information and dosent ask for payment or turn it into some program you gotta buy love the guy hope he makes millions
Another great video, Joe. All of the golfers heading out at the same time is most likely a tournament with a "shotgun" start. Every team starts on a different hole.
Joe, network with some small pest control companies. They spray houses in the spring and fall for insects and it works better for them if the houses are washed prior to spraying for insects. Your customer with bees can be an easy first phone call to make that connection. A lot of work can be passed back and forth.
thank you for telling me about the ladders and their weight. I struggle getting the ladder to stand up by myself.lol I'll be buying a new ladder today. I tried trimming my trees that hang over the gutter...the ladder almost took me out.lol
love it "watch don't worry ". I currently run a 24' it is my most common then at 28'. i have a 32' only use it about 5-10 times a year so i don't carry on truck just bring when needed.
Good vid. I am having some issues trying to combine to attach a leaf blower & vacuuming catching function together. Any gutter cleaners out there come across this or have managed to make one? Thanks
I always have a 24ft (use most frequently) and a 28ft, and 32 ft. I hate using the 32 ft. I am only 5'9" and the 32 always wants to use me as a fulcrum when I setup and is a pain to setup. I make it work but way more of a pain. 24 or 28 are light and use them all the time. 24 is like a feather, so nice and love it. All aluminum of course.
Order poles from Clean Direct. Their poles are Super Lite but expensive- $200 Mighty Atom Elite, after shipping. I've been using the skyvac for the last three years I'm on my second machine I use two machines at once for very large commercial jobs but I will never go back to go to clean by hand. And when the customer has gutter guards I charge them a higher price typically $20 to $30 more per gutter that I have to climb up. Most houses have four sides that need climbing Easley adding $160 to a work order. But I let the client know they should not need to order gutter cleaning for 3 to 5 years.
Hey Joe, forgive me if I missed it in another video, but type of ladder stabilizer is that. Has it been reliable? any issues with it? Good job again man, thanks for the vids.
Joe I run a 28 and I struggle on some jobs reaching the eaves with it. I think I’m going to get a 32 but I know it’s not going to be fun to set by myself
IM in California I charge $4.00 linear foot on a two-story home with leaf guards . Those leaf guards are useless the Pineneedles get through and the aggregate off the roof goes through those little holes.😊
I charge 200$ a roof and do it by myself with a leaf blower and a ladder. I'm working on getting bonded so I can make this 1000$ a day . What's the cheapest way to get bonded that's not 10k ??
Hey Joe. I got my own IBC tote a couple weeks ago.. the water surge isn't to bad but I don't like it. Are you still using the perforated drainage pipe..? And is it working for you?
boss use some gloves also you can buy a spoon from window supply vendor and attach it to a pole makes your life a lot easier. when cleaning gutters. best of luck to you
Wait… who says I do no marketing? I put out about 250 yard signs this year alone. For the past 3 years. I’ve created a local branded company. Logos on truck and outfitted 24-7. I sell myself everyday. My hustle is constant
Hey does everyone remember when Joe Derry used to do Pressure Washing and make RU-vid video. Man that was so much fun and he was such a great inspiration for all of us. Oh you didn’t hear what happened to him he created and patented the worlds best gutter cleaning backpack blower thingamajig and ended up selling them to Lowe’s and Home Depot for licensing and he’s a multi millionaire now just relaxing up in the hills of Putnam Connecticut where I hear he pays Mike Carmody $200 a day for his personal entertainment. Hahhahaha.
Just drag that bare hand through the goo... until you hit sheet metal burrs and pointed screw tips hidden in the goo. You're awesome at gettin' that money though. And it's not my hand! 🤙
A ladder is a ladder not stairs. Your ladder is not built to take pressure in that manner. Please move your ladder closer to the house 1 to 4 ratio. 1 ft back for every 4 ft up you are like 3 to 4. Dangerous!
dude how in the hell you bringing in 1k a day cleaning gutters? you cleaning 20 a day or something cause my average ticket where I'm at is $75-150 a house
Joe, you are hardcore, gutter cleaning with no gloves.🦾 I do not like doing it but you are so right. I’m leaving money on the table by not really offering that service.
